01/24          Philippians 4:13

13 For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

EVERYTHING

Everything means everything.  Every aspect of a Christ like life will be put into our life.  His strength is added to us, in us and useable by us for a Christ filled life. 

01/23          Philippians 4:9

9 Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

DYNAMIC

The Christ like life is a dynamic life.  We are receiving His wisdom mercy and grace daily and as His child we are putting it to work in our daily life.  Living under His control will result in Him putting His peace in your life. 

01/22          Philippians 4:8

8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

WORTHY

Think about worthy things.  Ask the Lord to help you discipline your mind and He will guard your thoughts.  Seek Him and all of his wisdom mercy and grace will be given to you. 

01/21          Philippians 4:6-7

6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

WORRY

Worry will not guide you in your day of trouble but the Lord will.  Cast your troubles on Him and thank Him for all He has done and He will give you His peace.  His peace will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. 

01/20          Proverbs 23:19-23

19 My child, listen and be wise: Keep your heart on the right course. 20 Do not carouse with drunkards or feast with gluttons, 21 for they are on their way to poverty, and too much sleep clothes them in rags. 22 Listen to your father, who gave you life, and don’t despise your mother when she is old. 23 Get the truth and never sell it; also get wisdom, discipline, and good judgment.

TRUTH

We will find truth if we will listen to what the Lord says.  Keep your heart focused steadfast on Jesus.  Ask the Lord for wisdom, mercy and good judgment and He will order your steps.  Surrender your life to Jesus. 

01/19          Jeremiah 29:12-14

12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. 14 I will be found by you,” says the LORD . “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.”

LOOK

Look for the Lord.  Search for Him diligently by the way you live, by the things you say, by the love you have for the brethren.  Look for the Lord and you will find Him and He will deliver you from your sin. 

01/18          Jeremiah 29:11

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD . “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

PLANS
The Lord God has plans for your life.  He is thinking about you and every thought the Jesus has towards you is a thought for good.  Listen to the Lord.  He will give you His plans for your good. 

01/17          Deuteronomy 7:6

6 For you are a holy people, who belong to the LORD your God. Of all the people on earth, the LORD your God has chosen you to be his own special treasure.

REMEMBER

Remember who you are and whose you are.  You are the focus of the Holy Spirit.  Jesus is alive in you.  You are loved. 

01/16          Ephesians 4:24

24 Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.

LIKE
We were created to be like God and with His power and strength in our life we can grow into Christ likeness.  Jesus is Lord.  We love Him.  Therefore we will surrender ourselves to Him and become more like Him. 

01/15          Ephesians 4:21-23

21 Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him, 22 throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. 23 Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.

HEARD

We have heard.  You have heard.  We know the right thing to do now we must do it.  Listen to the Lord.  Follow Him.  Do the next right thing.
