02/09          Psalm 116:1-2
1 I love the LORD because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. 2 Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!

HEARS
The Lord listens to you.  He hears your pleas, He knows your pain and He will provide.  Jesus is Lord. 

02/08          Hebrews 10:23-25
23 Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. 24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

TRUSTED

God is to be trusted.  He is trustworthy.  Nothing else is.  Remember this.  Do not be angry when someone violates your trust-only Jesus is totally trustworthy.  Kings and kingdoms will come and go but Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.  Jesus can be trusted. 

02/07          Hebrews 10:18-22
18 And when sins have been forgiven, there is no need to offer any more sacrifices. 19 And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. 20 By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. 21 And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, 22 let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.

FORGIVEN

When we come into the Family of God by asking Jesus to save us we are forgiven.  His shed blood covers our sin.  The Father now sees us alive in Christ.  He is Lord. 

02/06          Hebrews 10:10
10 For God’s will was for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all time.

HOLY
We are not holy because of our actions.  We are holy because Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior died for our sin on the Cross and was raised from the dead by the power of the Almight God who then seated Him at His right hand.  Praise God from whom all blessings flow. 

02/05          Hebrews 10:-9
8 First, Christ said, “You did not want animal sacrifices or sin offerings or burnt offerings or other offerings for sin, nor were you pleased with them” (though they are required by the law of Moses). 9 Then he said, “Look, I have come to do your will.” He cancels the first covenant in order to put the second into effect.

CHRIST

JESUS is all and in all and He is our covenant.  Christ is the center of our existence and we put all confidence in Him.  He is alive and He lives in me. 

02/04          Psalm 118:24-26

24 This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. 25 Please, LORD, please save us. Please, LORD, please give us success. 26 Bless the one who comes in the name of the LORD. We bless you from the house of the LORD.

REJOICE

Every day is a good day.  Jesus is Lord.  He loves us.  We love Him.  We are not alone.  The world cannot destroy us.  We live in success because Jesus is Lord. 

02/03          Psalm 118:14

14 The LORD is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.

VICTORY

We can rejoice.  The Lord speaks to us plainly. He is our victory.  He is our strength.  My joy is based in the Lord’s commitment to me and to us.  We are in His family-eternally- because He says we are!  If the Lord is for us who can be against us?  No one. 

02/02          Psalm 118:6-9
6 The LORD is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me? 7 Yes, the LORD is for me; he will help me. I will look in triumph at those who hate me. 8 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in people. 9 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.

COURAGE
We can live with courage-the Lord is for us.  We find our permanent refuge in Jesus.  He connects us to the Father, He saves us for the kingdom and He keeps us connected eternally in the family of God.  Jesus our elder brother is indeed Lord and Savior. 

02/01          PSALM 118:1-4

1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. 2 Let all Israel repeat: “His faithful love endures forever.” 3 Let Aaron’s descendants, the priests, repeat: “His faithful love endures forever.” 4 Let all who fear the LORD repeat: “His faithful love endures forever.”

FAITHFUL
God is faithful.  He is faithful to you.  Remember His love endures forever.

01/31          Romans 12:15-16

15 Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep. 16 Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!

BE
Be the kind of person the Lord can use.  Care for those around you.  Forgive quickly.  Confess your sin to the Lord immediately.  Be equipped and useable.  The Lord has work for you to do.
