02/03 Psalm 118:14
14 The LORD is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.
VICTORY
We can rejoice. The Lord speaks to us plainly. He is our victory. He is our strength. My joy is based in the Lord’s commitment to me and to us. We are in His family-eternally- because He says we are! If the Lord is for us who can be against us? No one.
02/02 Psalm 118:6-9
6 The LORD is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me? 7 Yes, the LORD is for me; he will help me. I will look in triumph at those who hate me. 8 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in people. 9 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.
COURAGE
We can live with courage-the Lord is for us. We find our permanent refuge in Jesus. He connects us to the Father, He saves us for the kingdom and He keeps us connected eternally in the family of God. Jesus our elder brother is indeed Lord and Savior.
02/01 PSALM 118:1-4
1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. 2 Let all Israel repeat: “His faithful love endures forever.” 3 Let Aaron’s descendants, the priests, repeat: “His faithful love endures forever.” 4 Let all who fear the LORD repeat: “His faithful love endures forever.”
FAITHFUL
God is faithful. He is faithful to you. Remember His love endures forever.
01/31 Romans 12:15-16
15 Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep. 16 Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!
BE
Be the kind of person the Lord can use. Care for those around you. Forgive quickly. Confess your sin to the Lord immediately. Be equipped and useable. The Lord has work for you to do.

9 Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.
YOU
God’s instructions are for you. His promises are for you. His Word is a light for our life. The Lord shines the light of truth upon us. His truth guides us. He is the author and finisher of our faith. Jesus is Lord of all.
01/29 Romans 12:3
Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.
REALITY
The Lord deals with reality. The reality that He is in control of all things and that you have given Him control of your life. Anything that is different than this is unreality. The Lord is in charge. Surrender to Him. Serve Him.
01/28 Romans 12:1-2
1 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
WHAT
What in your life is different than the world? Is the Lord the focus of your life? He is Lord. He loves you. He knows all about you and is always seeking your best good. Change. Become more like Jesus.
01/27 Proverbs 16:9
9 We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.
PLAN
Submit our plans to the Lord. Work hard. Plan good. But know this that the Lord has the final say on any of our plans. The Lord is actively at work in our world. He will not forget you. Every thought the Lord has towards you is a thought for good.
01/26 Proverbs 16:3
3 Commit your actions to the LORD, and your plans will succeed.
ACTIONS
Spend time with Jesus. Submit your plans to Him. Obey Him and your plans will succeed.
01/25 Philippians 4:19
19 And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.
JESUS
Jesus supplies all of our needs out of His great riches. He is Lord. He gives us what we need.
