JANUARY 12 – KNOW

01/12          Philippians 3:10-11

10 I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death, 11 so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead!

KNOW

I want to know Christ.  Not know about Him.  I want to know Him.  I want to share His suffering.  I want to be a good servant.  Every day die to self and serve Him.

JANUARY 11 – CREATE

01/11          Psalm 51:10

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.

CREATE
Create me Lord Jesus to be a faithful follower with a clean heart and a faithful lifestyle.  Jesus is Lord of me and Lord of my life.  Praise the Lord.

JANUARY 10 – FAITH

01/10          1 Peter 1:3-5

3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, 4 and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. 5 And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.

FAITH

By faith we live and breathe under His control.  By faith we see the relationship we have with Jesus and with the Father.  By faith we believe and live under His control.  Our faith is the foundation stone that steps us into the presence of the Lord Jesus and the Father based upon their promises in the Word of God and the activity we experience from them in our daily life.  Faith is the victory.

JANUARY 9 – FORGET

01/09          Psalm 103:1-5

1 Let all that I am praise the LORD ; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. 2 Let all that I am praise the LORD ; may I never forget the good things he does for me. 3 He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. 4 He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. 5 He fills my life with good things.

FORGET

Never forget what the Lord has done for you.  Remember all of the good things.  Remember His watch-care as you grew.  Remember that Jesus loves you-eternally.  He has carved your name in the palm of His hands.

JANUARY 8 – THANKS

01/08          1 Chronicles 16:34-36

34 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. 35 Cry out, “Save us, O God of our salvation! Gather and rescue us from among the nations, so we can thank your holy name and rejoice and praise you.” 36 Praise the LORD, the God of Israel, who lives from everlasting to everlasting! And all the people shouted “Amen!” and praised the LORD.

THANKS

An attitude of gratitude is critical for a spiritual walk that succeeds.  We are to be grateful for what Jesus does for us, grateful for where we are and grateful for the people Jesus puts in our life.  In all things give thanks for our Savior, the Lord Jesus is in control.  He loves us.

JANUARY 4 – PROPHECY

01/04          Isaiah 43:19

19 For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.

PROPHECY

Prophecy fulfilled when Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem.  Jesus is Lord.

JANUARY 3 – SAVED

01/03          2 Corinthians 5:17-21

17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! 18 And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. 19 For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. 20 So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” 21 For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.

SAVED

We are saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus.  When we come into His family we act and live differently than those that are dead in their trespasses and sin.  We do good works because we belong to Him.
