JUNE 11 – REMEMBER

6/11 Proverbs 3: 1-2
My child, never forget the things I have taught you. Store my commands in your heart, 2 for they will give you a long and satisfying life.
REMEMBER
Remember what the Lord says. His Words are the key to life. Remember what He says to you, claim His promises and live your life the way Jesus calls you to live.

JUNE 10 – MISTAKEN

6/10 Mark 3:30-35
He told them this because they were saying he had an evil spirit. 31 Jesus’ mother and brothers arrived at the house where he was teaching. They stood outside and sent word for him to come out and talk with them. 32 There was a crowd around Jesus, and someone said, “Your mother and your brothers and sisters are outside, asking for you.” 33 Jesus replied, “Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?” 34 Then he looked at those around him and said, “These are my mother and brothers. 35 Anyone who does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.”
MISTAKEN
Those that were closest to Jesus were mistaken about who He was. It took His death on the cross and resurrection for them to finally get it. Jesus is the Son of God. He is the only way to the Father. Do not make the same mistake they did. Jesus loves you and He has a plan for your life.

JUNE 9 – FOCUS

6/09 Mark 3:27-29
Let me illustrate this. You can’t enter a strong man’s house and rob him without first tying him up. Only then can his house be robbed! 28 “I assure you that any sin can be forgiven, including blasphemy; 29 but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven. It is an eternal sin.”
FOCUS
When you give your life to the Lord Jesus He keeps you in the palm of His hand. He will not forget you and He will always protect you. Focus your heart on Jesus and spend time with Him. He will lead you all of your life and walk with you when you transition from this life to the next.

JUNE 8 – TRUTH

6/08 Mark 3:23-26
Jesus called them over and said to them by way of illustration, “How can Satan cast out Satan? 24 A kingdom at war with itself will collapse. 25 A home divided against itself is doomed. 26 And if Satan is fighting against himself, how can he stand? He would never survive.
TRUTH
Jesus shares the truth and the teachers didn’t recognize it. Not because they weren’t smart but because they were un-teachable about the Lord and the things of God. Jesus is the Creator and He knew all things and they would not listen to Him. Wisdom comes from the Lord. I would encourage you to listen to Jesus and He will make your pathway straight.

JUNE 7 – LIARS

6/07 Mark 3:22
But the teachers of religious law who had arrived from Jerusalem said, “He’s possessed by Satan, the prince of demons. That’s where he gets the power to cast out demons.”
LIARS
Liars plotted to destroy Jesus. What they didn’t realize is that He already knew what they were up to and their plot was a part of His plan. Don’t be surprised by the world. Plotting is normal. Just remember that the Lord makes the plan for your life and He will make all things work together for good for those that love Him and are doing His will.

JUNE 6 – KNEW

6/06 Mark 3:20
When Jesus returned to the house where he was staying, the crowds began to gather again, and soon he and his disciples couldn’t even find time to eat. 21 When his family heard what was happening, they tried to take him home with them. “He’s out of his mind,” they said.
KNEW
Family and friends knew that Jesus was teaching differently than the status quo. They thought he was nuts. What do you think about Jesus? What you think will make a difference in your life.

JUNE 5 – LORD

6/05 Mark 3:13
Afterward Jesus went up on a mountain and called the ones he wanted to go with him. And they came to him. 14 Then he selected twelve of them to be his regular companions, calling them apostles. He sent them out to preach, 15 and he gave them authority to cast out demons. 16 These are the names of the twelve he chose: Simon (he renamed him Peter), 17 James and John (the sons of Zebedee, but Jesus nicknamed them “Sons of Thunder” ), 18 Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James (son of Alphaeus), Thaddaeus, Simon (the Zealot ), 19 Judas Iscariot (who later betrayed him).
LORD
During His time on earth the Lord had a very specific plan that He followed. That plan led straight to the Cross. Today Jesus is calling us to give up our self life and follow Him. Trust in the Lord and He will change the way you live your life. His way is the way of life. His way shines His light into the darkness of the world and guides us every step of our way.

JUNE 4 – SON

6/04 Mark 3:11
And whenever those possessed by evil spirits caught sight of him, they would fall down in front of him shrieking, “You are the Son of God!” 12 But Jesus strictly warned them not to say who he was.
SON
Jesus is the SON of God, the Creator of all things and He wants to have a relationship with you. Please note that the demons know who Jesus is. Therefore we need to take the time necessary to build a close relationship with the Lord. Begin today.

JUNE 3 – JESUS

6/03 Mark 3:9
Jesus instructed his disciples to bring around a boat and to have it ready in case he was crowded off the beach. 10 There had been many healings that day. As a result, many sick people were crowding around him, trying to touch him.
JESUS
You have 24/7 access to the Lord. He loves you and is concerned about how you are living your life. He will help you to stay on target for living a Godly life. He will remind you when you need to change and when you need to stand firm. Jesus is Lord.

JUNE 2 – PEOPLE

6/02 Mark 3:7-8
Jesus and his disciples went out to the lake, followed by a huge crowd from all over Galilee, Judea, 8 Jerusalem, Idumea, from east of the Jordan River, and even from as far away as Tyre and Sidon. The news about his miracles had spread far and wide, and vast numbers of people came to see him for themselves.
PEOPLE
The people wanted someone to give them what they wanted. They missed what Jesus was bringing, eternal life and instead were looking for creature comforts. Do not be fooled life is real and we must learn to deal with it by His light and His life. Jesus is Lord and we are His subjects. He doesn’t do what we say, we are called to do what He says.
