08/30 Psalm 119:113-115
I hate those who are undecided about you, but my choice is clear — I love your law. 114 You are my refuge and my shield; your word is my only source of hope. 115 Get out of my life, you evil-minded people, for I intend to obey the commands of my God.
COMMITTED
One day we simply have to say that whatever else happens I will follow the Lord. Seek Him. Spend time with Jesus. Fill your heart with His love. Experience His presence. Then you will be able to walk with Jesus every moment of every day.

08/29 Psalm 119:111-112
Your decrees are my treasure; they are truly my heart’s delight. 112 I am determined to keep your principles, even forever, to the very end.
CLOSE
When His Word becomes your delight you know that you are spending time with Him. Christ will fill us with joy and bless us with His peace. Knowing Him is a great delight. Seek the Lord that you might know Him better.

08/28 Psalm 119:109-110
My life constantly hangs in the balance, but I will not stop obeying your law. 110 The wicked have set their traps for me along your path, but I will not turn from your commandments.
DAILY
The Christian walk is a daily walk. The World is always seeking to trip you up. Evil is seeking to devour you. Trust in the Lord and He will give you moment-by-moment strength. Read the Word, spend time with Jesus and He will do it.

08/27 Psalm 119:107-108
I have suffered much, O LORD; restore my life again, just as you promised. 108 LORD, accept my grateful thanks and teach me your laws.
WALK
Our walk is critical in our success. Step out on faith and the Lord will be there to shepherd you. The Lord is seeking to equip us to be doers of His Word. Walk in His footsteps and obey Him.

08/25 Psalm 119:104
Your commandments give me understanding; no wonder I hate every false way of life.
REAL
God’s Word is real. It is effective and effectual in guiding our steps and equipping us to be what He created us to be. The Lord is adept as showing me the right way. He knows the end from the beginning and His Word shows me real life.

08/24 Psalm 119:102-103
I haven’t turned away from your laws, for you have taught me well. 103 How sweet are your words to my taste; they are sweeter than honey.
SWEET
His Word is sweet as it blesses us. His Word is sweet as the Lord functions in our life. He gives me light and life, instilling in me His peace and joy. The Lord is good and He is faithful every day of our life and then into eternity. Fear not for the Lord is with us.

08/23 Psalm 119:99-101
Yes, I have more insight than my teachers, for I am always thinking of your decrees. 100 I am even wiser than my elders, for I have kept your commandments. 101 I have refused to walk on any path of evil, that I may remain obedient to your word.
FOCUS
When the Lord is our focus we have life and light for living. He is the King and will lead us in the right way when we surrender our life to Him. Jesus is Lord. Give Him your heart and He will change you.

08/22 Psalm 119:97-98
Oh, how I love your law! I think about it all day long. 98 Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for your commands are my constant guide.
GUIDE
The Lord is always with us. His Word guides our path and equips us to meditate on Him. The Lord is our joy. He is here with you and me right now. Trust in the Lord and He will do it.

08/21 Psalm 119:95-96
Though the wicked hide along the way to kill me, I will quietly keep my mind on your decrees. 96 Even perfection has its limits, but your commands have no limit.
TRUST
Do not allow physical circumstances to steal your confidence in the Lord. Trust and obey and He will show you the way. He is our life and light. Trust in Jesus as you live your daily life. Our Salvation is now and He is with us. Rejoice in the Lord always.

08/20 Psalm 119:92-94
If your law hadn’t sustained me with joy, I would have died in my misery. 93 I will never forget your commandments, for you have used them to restore my joy and health. 94 I am yours; save me! For I have applied myself to obey your commandments.
YES
The Lord does save us and He will save us each day into eternity. Today is the Lord’s Day therefore you can rejoice in it. Take your troubles to the Lord and He will fix them.
