10/05 Psalm 119:168-170
Yes, I obey your commandments and decrees, because you know everything I do. 169 O LORD, listen to my cry; give me the discerning mind you promised. 170 Listen to my prayer; rescue me as you promised.
CLAIM
Lord I am claiming You as my deliverer. I trust You. You are my everything and all I am and will be trusts in you. I am living my life based on You. Jesus is Lord and He is my Lord.

10/04 Psalm 119:164-167
I will praise you seven times a day because all your laws are just. 165 Those who love your law have great peace and do not stumble. 166 I long for your salvation, LORD, so I have obeyed your commands. 167 I have obeyed your decrees, and I love them very much.
PEACE
When we come to Jesus He gives us His peace. As we study God’s Word we learn more about Jesus. The more we learn and put in place in our heart the greater our love, joy, peace, patience and strength fills our life. Jesus is our peace.
10/03 Psalm 119:160-163
All your words are true; all your just laws will stand forever. 161 Powerful people harass me without cause, but my heart trembles only at your word. 162 I rejoice in your word like one who finds a great treasure. 163 I hate and abhor all falsehood, but I love your law.
STRENGTH
There is strength for the day in Jesus. He will not let us be destroyed. He will be our protection and His strength will be our strength. The Lord is good and He is always seeking our best good. Oh Lord your WORD is worth more than gold for it teaches me about you.

See how I love your commandments, LORD. Give back my life because of your unfailing love.
SHOUT
Shout to the Lord-I love you Lord, I love your commandments. Seek His face. Lord speak to me, give me guidance for without you I can do nothing. Praise the Lord for He holds our life in His hand and one day soon we will see Him face to face. Praise the name of the Lord for He is always good.
10/01 Psalm 119:156-158
LORD, how great is your mercy; in your justice, give me back my life. 157 Many persecute and trouble me, yet I have not swerved from your decrees. 158 I hate these traitors because they care nothing for your word.
DEVOTION
Jesus saves us and provides for our cleansing. His call to us is to love one another. The Psalmist is being direct and expressing what is in his heart. The Lord calls us to be direct: tell Him what you want but Jesus calls us to love one another. We give Him our anger. Our righteousness isn’t like God’s therefore Jesus is our righteousness.
09/30 Psalm 119:150-155
Those lawless people are coming near to attack me; they live far from your law. 151 But you are near, O LORD, and all your commands are true. 152 I have known from my earliest days that your decrees never change. 153 Look down upon my sorrows and rescue me, for I have not forgotten your law. 154 Argue my case; take my side! Protect my life as you promised. 155 The wicked are far from salvation, for they do not bother with your principles.
NEAR
The Lord is near. He is totally involved in my life. When things are good I praise Him. When things are bad I praise Him. The Lord is worthy of all of my devotion. He is worthy of all of my praise. I am so grateful You are on my side. Thank You Lord Jesus.
09/29 Psalm 119:146-149
I cry out to you; save me, that I may obey your decrees. 147 I rise early, before the sun is up; I cry out for help and put my hope in your words. 148 I stay awake through the night, thinking about your promise. 149 In your faithful love, O LORD, hear my cry; in your justice, save my life.
NEED
LORD my need is great. My confidence is high. I trust you Lord. Thank You Lord for Your faithfulness. I am so grateful I can turn to You. You are faithful and true. I love you Jesus.
09/28 Psalm 119:145
I pray with all my heart; answer me, LORD! I will obey your principles.
HEAR
I know the Lord hears me. Jesus is always interceding for me and He is my Lord. I am in need of You Lord. Thank you for listening to me. Praise the name of the Lord. He is victorious and all-powerful. The Lord is my God.
09/27 Psalm 119:143-144
As pressure and stress bear down on me, I find joy in your commands. 144 Your decrees are always fair; help me to understand them that I may live.
UNDERSTAND
Lord I want to understand Your commands. Sin blocks my sight. Hold on to me as you lead me through each day. Do not let me go Lord Jesus for I am such a great sinner. Your love nurtures me, Your strength and faithfulness equip me, thank You Lord Jesus.
09/26 Psalm 119:140
Your promises have been thoroughly tested; that is why I love them so much. 141 I am insignificant and despised, but I don’t forget your commandments. 142 Your justice is eternal, and your law is perfectly true.
PROMISES
I love you Lord. Your promises to me guide me through the fog of sin. You have woven Your love in my soul, given me a new heart and encouraged me to live and act with the full knowledge that You are here with me. Thank you Lord for your 7,000 plus promises in your Word, the Bible. Thank You.
