04/19    SERVE OTHERS WITH CHRISTLIKE LOVE

“Through love serve one another.” (Galatians 5:13)
The call to deny oneself becomes visible in serving others. Service is not a task—it is an expression of Christ’s life. As we serve, self-interest dies and love grows. Serving others reflects the heart of the One who came not to be served but to serve.

  • Service is the practice of self-denial.
  • Love becomes visible through action.
  • Jesus is our model for servanthood.

Poem – Hands of Love
Use my hands, Lord,
for quiet service,
simple acts
that lift another.

Let love lead me
into unseen places,
where grace works
in gentle ways.

Shape my heart
by Your servant-life,
teaching me joy
in surrender.

Prayer
Lord, make me a servant. Use my hands and heart to reflect Christ. Teach me to serve with joy, humility, and love, laying down self for the sake of others.
