“Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial and temptation.” (James 1:12)
Following Jesus requires endurance. Temptation seeks to derail discipleship, but perseverance strengthens the heart. God provides grace to endure, and the reward is deeper fellowship with Him and the crown of life He promises.

When temptation calls,
You strengthen me,
steadying my heart
against the pull.
Your presence guards me,
quiet but firm,
reminding me
of who I am in You.
Endurance grows,
slow and strong,
as Your grace
upholds me.
Prayer
Lord, give me strength to endure temptation. Guard my heart, firm my resolve, and deepen my devotion to Christ. Let my perseverance honor You and reveal Your life in me.
