04/15               ENDURE SUFFERING FOR CHRIST

“For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake… to suffer for His sake.” (Philippians 1:29)
Suffering is not punishment—it is fellowship with Christ. When we endure hardship for His sake, we share in His ministry, His patience, and His victory. Suffering becomes a privilege when it draws us closer to Him.

  • Suffering for Christ strengthens faith.
  • Hardship refines the disciple’s heart.
  • Christ meets us in the place of pain.

Poem – In the Furnace
In suffering’s heat,
You stand with me,
quiet yet present,
strong in Your love.

My pain becomes
a place of fellowship,
where Your comfort
meets my weakness.

What I endure
is not in vain,
for You shape me
through the fire.

Prayer
Lord, give me grace to endure suffering for Your sake. Meet me in the struggle, strengthen my faith, and use every hardship to draw me nearer to Christ.
