Today's Good News

NOVEMBER 30 – LORD

11/30          Psalm 74:19-23

Don’t let these wild beasts destroy your turtledoves. Don’t forget your suffering people forever. 20 Remember your covenant promises, for the land is full of darkness and violence! 21 Don’t let the downtrodden be humiliated again. Instead, let the poor and needy praise your name. 22 Arise, O God, and defend your cause. Remember how these fools insult you all day long. 23 Don’t overlook what your enemies have said or their growing uproar.

LORD
The Lord is quick to remember.  He remembers you every moment of every day.  He is near.  He is alert.  He does not slumber or sleep.  Jesus is alive and He is with us.  Jesus saves completely.

NOVEMBER 29 – JESUS

11/29          Psalm 74:12-18

You, O God, are my king from ages past, bringing salvation to the earth. 13 You split the sea by your strength and smashed the heads of the sea monsters. 14 You crushed the heads of Leviathan and let the desert animals eat him. 15 You caused the springs and streams to gush forth, and you dried up rivers that never run dry. 16 Both day and night belong to you; you made the starlight and the sun. 17 You set the boundaries of the earth, and you made both summer and winter. 18 See how these enemies insult you, . A foolish nation has dishonored your name.

JESUS

JESUS there is just something about that name.  He is near to me and is ready to talk with me.  Jesus, Jesus, Jesus how I love to say your name.  I praise you for your great love for me and every other person on the face of this World.  Thank you for seeking each one of us out.  Thank you for holding on to us.  Thank you for life and light for living.  Thank you Lord Jesus.  I love you.

NOVEMBER 28 – JUDGMENT

11/28          Psalm 74:3-11

Walk through the awful ruins of the city; see how the enemy has destroyed your sanctuary. 4 There your enemies shouted their victorious battle cries; there they set up their battle standards. 5 They swung their axes like woodcutters in a forest. 6 With axes and picks, they smashed the carved paneling. 7 They burned your sanctuary to the ground. They defiled the place that bears your name. 8 Then they thought, “Let’s destroy everything!” So they burned down all the places where God was worshiped. 9 We no longer see your miraculous signs. All the prophets are gone, and no one can tell us when it will end. 10 How long, O God, will you allow our enemies to insult you? Will you let them dishonor your name forever? 11 Why do you hold back your strong right hand? Unleash your powerful fist and destroy them.

JUDGMENT
One day the Lord will return.  All things will be made new and those things that do not belong to Him will be destroyed.  Judgment grinds slowly but the Lord doesn’t forget.  He forgives us but if we ignore HIM we will stand before in judgment and it will be an awful tragedy.  Believe in Jesus.  Ask Him to forgive you of your sin.  Jesus is Lord and He is looking for you.

NOVEMBER 27 – EVERY DAY

11/27                   2 Corinthians 4:15-16

All of these things are for your benefit. And as God’s grace brings more and more people to Christ, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory.  That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.

EVERY DAY

The Lord Jesus gives us mercy and grace each day.  His mercies are fresh and His grace is sufficient.  Rejoice in the Lord always for He is a great God.  Today is His day.

JESUS provides everything I need.  He gives me light and life and guides me everyday.  He is Lord and I love Him.  Jesus, Jesus, Jesus there’s just something about that name.  Praise the name of Jesus.

NOVEMBER 25 – THANK YOU

11/25          Psalm 95:2-3

Let us come before him with thanksgiving. Let us sing him psalms of praise.  For the LORD is a great God, the great King above all gods.

THANK YOU

I am thankful Lord Jesus for everything you give us.  All good things come from your hand and we praise your name for your good gifts.  Thank you Lord, thank you.

NOVEMBER 24 – REMEMBER

11/24          Psalm 74:1

1 O God, why have you rejected us so long? Why is your anger so intense against the sheep of your own pasture? 2 Remember that we are the people you chose long ago, the tribe you redeemed as your own special possession! And remember Jerusalem, your home here on earth.

REMEMBER

The Lord is good and His mercy is everlasting.  He loves you and you can cry out to Him for His remembrance.  He will not overlook you nor will He forget you.  The Lord of all things is your Lord and He loves you.

NOVEMBER 23 – HEAR

11/23          Luke 21:37-38

Every day Jesus went to the Temple to teach, and each evening he returned to spend the night on the Mount of Olives. 38 The crowds gathered at the Temple early each morning to hear him.

HEAR

In Jesus day the people flocked to Hear Him.  He had the words of life.  His teaching wasn’t like the religious, His teaching gave light and life to the hearers.  Today HEAR Jesus as you read His Word.  Listen as the Holy Spirit quickens your spirit.  The Lord is near.

NOVEMBER 22 – ALERT

11/22          Luke 21:34-36

“Watch out! Don’t let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don’t let that day catch you unaware, 35 like a trap. For that day will come upon everyone living on the earth. 36 Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man.”

ALERT

Be on the alert.  Live your life wisely.  Be ready today for we know not the day or the hour when Jesus is coming back.  He is Lord of all and we love and serve Him.

NOVEMBER 21 – WORD

11/21          Luke 21:32-33

I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these things have taken place. 33 Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.

WORD

You can trust the Lord and His Word.  His Word is active, living guiding us to Jesus and enlightening us as the Holy Spirit gives wisdom.  Read the Bible.  Seek to know Him.  His Word strengthens us and leads us to Jesus.
