05/02          1 Peter 2:2-3 

Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, 3 now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness. 

WORD

Read the Word of God-the Bible.  Devour it as if the life you live depends upon it because it does.  The Work of God in you is that you know the Word, and live the Word in your daily life.  God’s Word is for life and living.  Read the Word of God and remember it. 

05/01          1 Peter 2:1 

So get rid of all evil behavior. Be done with all deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, and all unkind speech. 

YOU

God’s Word is directed at you.  We are not fruit inspectors of others but instead are charged with cleaning up our own behavior and actions.  You change.  You rejoice.  You tend to your business and love one another.  Simple huh.  Be about the Lord’s work in your life and encourage and love those around you.  Period. 

04/30          Psalm 100:5 

For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.

WORD

God’s Word is true.  He is faithful.  His faithfulness is ALWAYS.  Trust in the Lord and He will see you through.  This world is passing away.  God is not.  He was here before there was anything.  He will be here when all things we know pass away.  God is eternal.  He shares Himself with us and gives us participation in Himself.  We belong to Him and we will be with Him from now unto forever.  Trust in the Lord. 

04/29          Psalm 100:4 

Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. 

BE

Be there.  Do think about the things of God and the people He loves including you.  The Father is worthy of all praise.  The Holy Spirit is worthy of all praise.  Jesus is worthy of all praise.  Praise the Lord.  Praise the Lord.  Three in One.  Praise the Lord. 

04/28          Psalm 100:3 

Acknowledge that the LORD is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. 

OBEY

We acknowledge the Lord when we obey Him.  Do those things you know to do.  Talk with Him.  Develop a relationship with Him.  Remember that the Lord rejoices to give us His power.  He wants our success.  Praise the Lord.  We belong to Him. 

04/27          Psalm 100:2 

Worship the LORD with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. 

RIGHT

It is right to worship the Lord.  Sing before Him.  Be aware that you are in His presence.  As you sing and praise Him remember the importance of obedience.  Do what He says.  That too is part of our worship.  Finally love one another.   Jesus is Lord. 

04/26          Psalm 100:1

Shout with joy to the LORD, all the earth! 

TODAY

REJOICE.  Proclaim His great love for you.  Jesus the Lord God has come for you.  He is looking for you.  Today is your chance to change everything about your life.  Where ever you are and how ever you are Jesus is looking for you.  Joy to the world for the Lord has come.  Shout with joy to the Lord for He is here. 

04/25          Psalm 99:8-9 

O LORD our God, you answered them. You were a forgiving God to them, but you punished them when they went wrong. 9 Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy mountain in Jerusalem, for the LORD our God is holy!

LOVE

God reached across from His holy, eternal existence into our world because He first loved us.  Think about your life.  How hard and often chaotic it is.  The Lord God Almighty loves you with a love that transcends our ability to comprehend it.  Rejoice today as you think about the Lord and His great love for you.  He is holy and yet He has regard for us. 

04/24          Psalm 99:6-7
Moses and Aaron were among his priests; Samuel also called on his name. They cried to the LORD for help, and he answered them. 7 He spoke to Israel from the pillar of cloud, and they followed the laws and decrees he gave them. 

ETERNAL
God is eternal.  His life is everlasting.  In Christ He gives us life like himself-eternal.  It is important to know that God never ages, is never limited and He rejoices in giving us His power.  God good, all the time.

04/23          Psalm 99:5 

Exalt the LORD our God! Bow low before his feet, for he is holy! 

DIFFERENT

The Lord is different-He is Holy and we are not.  Jesus died for our sin and imparts His holiness to us-He brings us into the Family of God and gives us rightstanding before the Father so that we can have a relationship with Him.  Jesus is Lord.
