Fear Of The Lord Means Serving God Wholeheartedly

  1. Fear Of The Lord Means Serving God Wholeheartedly

Deuteronomy 10:12 — “Serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.”

Joshua 24:14 — “Fear the LORD and serve Him in sincerity and truth.”

Hebrews 12:28 — “Offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe.”

The fear of the Lord produces willing service. A reverent heart stops asking, “How little can I give?” and starts asking, “Lord, what do You desire from me?” Jesus served the Father perfectly. Holy fear creates servants who care more about pleasing God than impressing people.

• Reverence purifies our motives.
• Fear removes hypocrisy from service.
• Serving God becomes worship.

What this means:
• Christian service should be sincere.
• God sees the motive behind every action.
• Reverence produces wholehearted devotion.
• Fear of God creates humility.

Daily walk:
• Serve without needing recognition.
• Offer every task to God as worship.
• Ask God to cleanse selfish motives.
