JUNE 8 – PRAY

June 8                                     1 Thessalonians 5:17

17 Never stop praying.

PRAY

Pray every day.  Pray for others.  Pray for yourself.  Pray for your day.  Pray for healing of those around you.  Pray that you will be able to communicate the Gospel.  Pray for wisdom and knowledge.  Pray for the lost.  Pray for your family.  Pray, pray, pray for you never get beyond the need for prayer.  Pray!

JUNE 7 – DARKNESS

June 7                                     1 Thessalonians 5:5-6

5 For you are all children of the light and of the day; we don’t belong to darkness and night. 6 So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be clearheaded.

DARKNESS

There is no such thing as darkness for darkness is simply the absence of light.  Light shines in the darkness whether a pinprick of light or blinding light.  You choose to walk in the light as He is in the light.  Follow Jesus and you will never stumble in the darkness.  Jesus is Lord.

JUNE 6 – HUMBLE

June 6                         Romans 12:14-16

14 Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. 15 Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep. 16 Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!

HUMBLE

We live in a world that rewards arrogance and penalizes humility.  You choose to be humble and follow Jesus.  You choose to set aside your pride and bend the knee to the Lord’s Word.  Be humble and the Lord will give you the wisdom and knowledge you need to navigate the chaos and difficulty of this life and greater blessings in the life to come.

JUNE 5 – THREE

June 5                                     Romans 12:12

12 Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble and keep on praying.

THREE

Three things we care called to do: rejoice for our confidence is in Jesus and He will provide for us; deal with trouble patiently-it often takes time to work through and every day, every day keep praying for the Lord God knows where you are and what you need.  Rejoice.

JUNE 4 – CHEERFUL

June 4                         2 Corinthians 9:6-7

6 Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. 7 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”

CHEERFUL

God loves a cheerful giver for in the giver is the belief that the Lord God will meet all of their needs. At the least you must be a tither. Only when you’ve given 10% are you able to give offerings to the Lord God Almighty.  Give and He will give to you more than you can imagine.  We have a loving and caring Father.  Jesus is Lord.  Give.

JUNE 3 – GIVING

June 3                         2 Corinthians 8:7

7 Since you excel in so many ways—in your faith, your gifted speakers, your knowledge, your enthusiasm, and your love from us —I want you to excel also in this gracious act of giving.

GIVING

Giving is a faith act.  We give all that we have to Jesus.  He makes sure we have what we need.  He gives us peace and joy.  Then He enables us to walk in the way of His wisdom and knowledge.  Give your life to Jesus and He will train you up in the way you should go.

JUNE 2 – GIVE

June 2                         2 Corinthians 8:1-3

1 Now I want you to know, dear brothers and sisters, what God in his kindness has done through the churches in Macedonia.2 They are being tested by many troubles, and they are very poor. But they are also filled with abundant joy, which has overflowed in rich generosity. 3 For I can testify that they gave not only what they could afford, but far more. And they did it of their own free will.

GIVE

Troubles are always with us but the opportunity to give often is greatest when we think we have the least. Give your money of course, but also lend a hand, encourage the hurting and downtrodden, help the homeless, befriend an enemy, forgive a hurt, and always be willing to go the extra mile. Do the next right thing.  Jesus is Lord.

JUNE 1 – ACCOUNTABLE

June 1                         2 Chronicles 31:11-12

11 Hezekiah ordered that storerooms be prepared in the Temple of the LORD . When this was done,12 the people faithfully brought all the gifts, tithes, and other items dedicated for use in the Temple. Conaniah the Levite was put in charge, assisted by his brother Shimei.

ACCOUNTABLE

We are first and foremost accountable to the Lord.  These Levites were.  They did their work as unto the Lord.  Please note that as a Christian your accountability partner is Jesus.  Come Lord Jesus today.

MAY 31 – HOPE

May 31                       Romans 12:12

12 Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble and keep on praying.

HOPE

Hope changes everything.  We know in whom we have placed our hope and Jesus never fails.  We believe Christ has brought salvation to us and we will never be at the mercy of the world.  Christ is king and He brings us everything we need to lead an eternal life.

MAY 30 – JOY

May 30                       2 Corinthians 8:1-5

1 Now I want you to know, dear brothers and sisters, what God in his kindness has done through the churches in Macedonia.  2 They are being tested by many troubles, and they are very poor. But they are also filled with abundant joy, which has overflowed in rich generosity.  3 For I can testify that they gave not only what they could afford, but far more. And they did it of their own free will.   4 They begged us again and again for the privilege of sharing in the gift for the believers in Jerusalem.   5They even did more than we had hoped, for their first action was to give themselves to the Lord and to us, just as God wanted them to do.

JOY

Joy is the result of Christ in our life.  When we are in intimate relationship with Jesus we will have peace and joy because He gives that to us.  When you are hurting and life has you down claim Christ and His presence in your life.  He will walk with you through the trial and He will give you His peace and joy.  Joy comes from Jesus.
