OCTOBER 18 – HIS

10/18 Revelation 21:5-7
5 And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making all things new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” 6 And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega — the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give the springs of the water of life without charge! 7 All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.
HIS
We will belong to God and be in His presence. We will know exactly everything we need to experience the very best of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. No more wondering. No more fear. No more today or tomorrow, time will be destroyed; all will be right now in eternity.

OCTOBER 17 – GONE

10/17 Revelation 21:4
4 He will remove all of their sorrows, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. For the old world and its evils are gone forever.”
GONE
Everything we have suffered in this world will be destroyed so that it can hurt us no more. We are children of God and will experience life like God’s life for eternity. I am looking forward to that day when we will see Him face to face.

OCTOBER 16 – YES

10/16 Revelation 21:2-3
2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a beautiful bride prepared for her husband. 3 I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, the home of God is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.
YES
This world is not our home. We have a home made without hands for us. That home will be in the presence of God. What a homecoming. What a Savior. Our God is a good and wonderful loving God who desires to be with us. Jesus is Lord.

OCTOBER 15 – NEW

10/15 Revelation 21:1
1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone.
NEW
All things will be new. Our home is with the Father in eternity and when we get there everything will be perfect. We will see Him face to face. We will know Him by sight and we will fully experience our salvation. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

OCTOBER 14 – KNEW

10/14 Hebrews 2:16-18
16 We all know that Jesus came to help the descendants of Abraham, not to help the angels. 17 Therefore, it was necessary for Jesus to be in every respect like us, his brothers and sisters, so that he could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God. He then could offer a sacrifice that would take away the sins of the people. 18 Since he himself has gone through suffering and temptation, he is able to help us when we are being tempted.
KNEW
Jesus knew our pain, experiencing all the things we experience and yet without sin. He was totally committed to the Father. He has suffered as you suffer. He has been tempted as you are tempted. Jesus is a worthy and glorious Savior and He is just what we need.

OCTOBER 13 – NEW

10/13 Hebrews 2:14-15
14 Because God’s children are human beings — made of flesh and blood — Jesus also became flesh and blood by being born in human form. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the Devil, who had the power of death. 15 Only in this way could he deliver those who have lived all their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.
NEW
Jesus makes all things new. Lost your way go to Jesus. You once followed Jesus and by some act of omission or comission you drifted away. Come back to Christ. Where ever you are what ever you have done stop and turn to Jesus. He will not turn you away and He will fix what ails you.

OCTOBER 12 – SAVIOR

10/12 Hebrews 2:10-13
11 So now Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters. 12 For he said to God, “I will declare the wonder of your name to my brothers and sisters. I will praise you among all your people.” 13 He also said, “I will put my trust in him.” And in the same context he said, “Here I am — together with the children God has given me.”
SAVIOR
Jesus is our Savior. He is the One we can trust in and He will deliver us safely into the Father’s hands. We can have faith that Jesus will take care of us, will not neglect us and will never let us go. Jesus is our Lord and He will save us unto eternity.

OCTOBER 11 – LEADER

10/11 Hebrews 2:9-10
9 What we do see is Jesus, who “for a little while was made lower than the angels” and now is “crowned with glory and honor” because he suffered death for us. Yes, by God’s grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone in all the world. 10 And it was only right that God — who made everything and for whom everything was made — should bring his many children into glory. Through the suffering of Jesus, God made him a perfect leader, one fit to bring them into their salvation.
LEADER
Jesus is the leader of all of those that name HIS name as their Lord and Savior. If we aren’t following Jesus we aren’t on the road to God. Jesus is God and He has paid the price for our redemption.

OCTOBER 10 – ALL

10/10 Hebrews 2:5-8
5 And furthermore, the future world we are talking about will not be controlled by angels. 6 For somewhere in the Scriptures it says, “What is man that you should think of him, and the son of man that you should care for him? 7 For a little while you made him lower than the angels, and you crowned him with glory and honor. 8 You gave him authority over all things.” Now when it says “all things,” it means nothing is left out. But we have not yet seen all of this happen.
ALL
Jesus is above, greater than, ALL things. He is the top. He is the Creator and in Him all things exist. Jesus is God’s A to Z. Jesus is Lord.

OCTOBER 9 – GREAT

10/09 Hebrews 2:1-4
1 So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it. 2 The message God delivered through angels has always proved true, and the people were punished for every violation of the law and every act of disobedience. 3 What makes us think that we can escape if we are indifferent to this great salvation that was announced by the Lord Jesus himself? It was passed on to us by those who heard him speak, 4 and God verified the message by signs and wonders and various miracles and by giving gifts of the Holy Spirit whenever he chose to do so.
GREAT
We serve a great and wonderful Lord. He loves us beyond our capacity to understand His deep and abiding love. Yet we know His love and we have accepted His love therefore we are to live His love in this world. Do not neglect your fellowship with the Lord, reading His Word and talking with Him. We too quickly forget what we read and so often become tangled up in the world. Serve the Lord with gladness for He loves you.
