10/25 Psalm 130:3-4
LORD, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive? 4 But you offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear you.
FORGIVENESS
We live under the weight of sin. Jesus gives us forgiveness. We need forgiveness. People that we come into contact with need forgiveness. We are forgiven and we are called to forgive. Jesus is Lord.

OCTOBER 24, 2014 – CRY

10/24 Psalm 130:1-2
A song for the ascent to Jerusalem. From the depths of despair, O LORD, I call for your help. 2 Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.

OCTOBER 23, 2014 – BLESS

10/23 Psalm 129:5-7
May all who hate Jerusalem be turned back in shameful defeat. 6 May they be as useless as grass on a rooftop, turning yellow when only half grown, 7 ignored by the harvester, despised by the binder. 8 And may those who pass by refuse to give them this blessing: “The LORD’s blessings be upon you; we bless you in the LORD’s name.”
BLESS
We are blessed in Jesus. He brings the Father’s blessing to us. Do not be anxious for Jesus has overcome the world and He will not leave you.

OCTOBER 22, 2014 – LIFE

10/22 Psalm 129:3-4
My back is covered with cuts, as if a farmer had plowed long furrows. 4 But the LORD is good; he has cut the cords used by the ungodly to bind me.
LIFE
Life is hard and has many troubles but Jesus will walk through each one of them with us. He will not desert us. He will not throw us overboard when we fail. Jesus loves you and has a good plan for your life.

OCTOBER 21, 2014 – VICTORY

10/21 Psalm 129:1-2
A song for the ascent to Jerusalem. From my earliest youth my enemies have persecuted me — let Israel now say — 2 from my earliest youth my enemies have persecuted me, but they have never been able to finish me off.
VICTORY
The world is seeking to destroy you. Jesus will not permit this. Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and He will take care of you. Jesus is Lord.

OCTOBER 20, 2014 – PEACE

10/20 Psalm 128:4-6
That is the LORD’s reward for those who fear him. 5 May the LORD continually bless you from Zion. May you see Jerusalem prosper as long as you live. 6 May you live to enjoy your grandchildren. And may Israel have quietness and peace.
PEACE
Jesus brings peace to our life. He is peace. Know the Lord for in Him we have peace and joy. Go to Jesus in troubled times and He will reinforce His peace in you.

OCTOBER 19, 2014 – FEAR

10/19 Psalm 128:1-3
A song for the ascent to Jerusalem. How happy are those who fear the LORD — all who follow his ways! 2 You will enjoy the fruit of your labor. How happy you will be! How rich your life! 3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine, flourishing within your home. And look at all those children! There they sit around your table as vigorous and healthy as young olive trees.
FEAR
Fear (respect) the Lord. He is worthy of all devotion and honor. He is Lord of all, all knowing, all everything. The Lord will give us His blessing as we live our life in devotion to Him.

OCTOBER 18, 2014 – BE

10/18 Psalm 127:2-5
It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones. 3 Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him. 4 Children born to a young man are like sharp arrows in a warrior’s hands. 5 How happy is the man whose quiver is full of them! He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city gates.
BE
We are called to be children of God and that we are when we bend our knee to Jesus. Jesus Christ brings us into the Family of God. Jesus loves you. Don’t waste time working for what fades away and instead be diligent in devoting your time to things that are eternal.

OCTOBER 17, 2014 – SECURITY

10/17 Psalm 127:1
A song for the ascent to Jerusalem. A psalm of Solomon. Unless the LORD builds a house, the work of the builders is useless. Unless the LORD protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good.
SECURITY
The world is a dangerous place. All of us will one day pass. Jesus is our only security. In Christ we have eternal life. He gives us wisdom, mercy, grace and understanding so that we can live a life directed by His grace. Jesus will lead us. He will protect us. Jesus Christ is our only security.

OCTOBER 16, 2014 – YES

10/16 Psalm 126:3-6
Yes, the LORD has done amazing things for us! What joy! 4 Restore our fortunes, LORD, as streams renew the desert. 5 Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy. 6 They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.
YES
Yes we have a future. No matter the difficulty we face we have a future and a hope in Jesus Christ. Jesus is Lord of all and we are under His watchcare. Rejoice for the Lord is in control.
