18. Fear Of The Lord Means Delighting In God’s Word

Psalm 112:1 — “Who greatly delights in His commandments.”

Jeremiah 15:16 — “Your words were found and I ate them.”

2 Timothy 3:16 — “All Scripture is inspired by God.”

The fear of the Lord treasures Scripture because reverence treasures the voice of God. The believer who fears God does not treat the Bible casually. God’s Word becomes nourishment, correction, wisdom, and life.

Jesus answered temptation with Scripture because He honored the Father completely.

    • Reverence creates hunger for Scripture.
    • God’s Word shapes spiritual thinking.
    • Fear of the Lord deepens biblical obedience.

    What this means:
    • Scripture is necessary for growth.
    • God speaks through His Word.
    • Biblical truth protects believers.
    • Reverence strengthens faith.

    Daily walk:
    • Read Scripture daily with attention.
    • Memorize key verses regularly.
    • Apply biblical truth immediately.
