08. I am called to bear fruit

08. John 15:5
“I am the vine, you are the branches; the one who remains in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”

Fruit is not forced—it is formed through abiding. My responsibility is not to produce fruit but to remain in Christ. Life flows from Him, and fruit follows.

  • Abiding is the source of fruitfulness.
  • Separation from Christ results in barrenness.
  • Fruit reflects the life of Jesus in me.

How this helps me grow in Christ

  • It centers my life on relationship, not activity.
  • It produces lasting spiritual impact.
  • It keeps me dependent on Christ daily.

How to implement this daily

  • Spend time with Christ in His Word.
  • Stay connected through prayer throughout the day.
  • Obey what He shows you immediately.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, keep me close to You today. Help me to abide in You so that Your life flows through me. Produce fruit in me that brings glory to Your name.
