2 Peter 3:9
“The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”
God’s love is not hurried—it is patient. What we often call delay is actually mercy at work. He does not act quickly in judgment because His heart is bent toward redemption. His patience is the space where grace calls us home.
This patience reveals the depth of His love. He sees all, knows all, and yet restrains His hand so that we might turn and live. In Christ, we see a Savior who waits, not in weakness, but in mercy that longs for repentance.

Father, thank You for Your patience with me. You have not treated me as my sins deserve, but have given me time to turn and grow. Teach me to value Your mercy.
Jesus, form in me a patient heart. Let me reflect Your grace to others, waiting with love and responding with compassion.
