12.       Love That Is Personal

Isaiah 43:1
“But now, thus says the Lord, your Creator, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel, ‘Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!’”

God’s love is not general—it is personal. He does not love humanity as an abstract idea; He loves you by name. His love is intimate, intentional, and individual.

This is the wonder of redemption. The God who created all things calls you His own. In Christ, you are not lost in a crowd—you are known, seen, and loved specifically.

  • Jesus knows us personally and calls us by name.
  • God’s love is individual, not distant.
  • We are fully known and fully loved.

How to put this to work in my daily walk
Walk in the confidence that God knows you. Speak to Him personally and expect His care in every detail of your life.

How can I grow in my love for God
Spend personal time with Him daily. Relationship grows through intentional connection.

Prayer
Father, thank You that You know me by name. You see my life, my struggles, and my needs. Help me rest in Your personal care.

Jesus, draw me into deeper relationship with You. Let me know You not just as Savior, but as the One who walks with me daily.
