13.       Love That Is Compassionate

Psalm 103:13
“Just as a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.”

God’s love feels. It is not cold or distant—it is compassionate. He sees your weakness and responds with tenderness, not harshness.

In Christ, we see compassion in action. He touched the broken, wept with the grieving, and lifted the fallen. His love moves toward pain with mercy.

  • Jesus shows the compassion of the Father.
  • God responds to weakness with mercy.
  • His love meets us in our need.

How to put this to work in my daily walk
Be compassionate toward others. See their struggles and respond with kindness and understanding.

How can I grow in my love for God
Reflect on His compassion toward you. As you receive His mercy, your love will increase.

Prayer
Father, thank You for Your compassion. You understand my weakness and meet me with grace. Help me trust Your heart.

Jesus, make me compassionate like You. Let me see others through Your eyes and love them with Your heart.
