JULY 14 – WORLD

7/14 John 15:18-19
“When the world hates you, remember it hated me before it hated you. 19 The world would love you if you belonged to it, but you don’t. I chose you to come out of the world, and so it hates you.
WORLD
The world will never see the Lord’s way. We will always stand apart from the world, we do not belong to the world for the world is passing away and this place, the world, is not our home. Do not fear for the Lord Jesus is with you and the world persecuted and crucified Him. He is Lord. Trust Jesus and stand in Him.

JULY 13 – CHOSEN

7/13 John 15:16-17
You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce fruit that will last, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. 17 I command you to love each other.
CHOSEN
Being chosen is a paradox that we struggle with. Jesus is looking for us. He would that no one die and go out into eternity separated from the Father. But we also have freewill and we must choose Him. Amazingly when we choose Him we are chosen as a child of God. I do not understand this nor can I adequately explain it but I know that Jesus loves me and He is seeking you.

JULY 12 – FRIEND

7/12 John 15:14-15
You are my friends if you obey me. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a master doesn’t confide in his servants. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.
FRIEND
I asked Jesus into my heart and He gave me new life. Praise the Lord for this new life-I AM A FRIEND OF GOD-now Lord day by day enable me to obey you. I love the Lord and my obedience bears testimony to my love.

JULY 11 – LOVE

7/11 John 15:11-13
I have told you this so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! 12 I command you to love each other in the same way that I love you. 13 And here is how to measure it — the greatest love is shown when people lay down their lives for their friends.
LOVE
God loves you. He died for your sin while you were still in your sin, dead in your trespasses. His love was first. His love was the solution to the separation you felt in life. He died for you. Praise the Lord He has provided the solution to this wretched life I lived-salvation in Jesus Christ.

JULY 10 – KNOW

7/10 John 15:5-10
“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. 6 Anyone who parts from me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned. 7 But if you stay joined to me and my words remain in you, you may ask any request you like, and it will be granted! 8 My true disciples produce much fruit. This brings great glory to my Father. 9 “I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. 10 When you obey me, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father and remain in his love.
KNOW
We can know the Lord. We ask Him to forgive our sin and give us new life and He will. We seek to know Him better by spending time with Him. If we will spend time with Him Jesus will teach us. When He teaches us we know Him better. The better we know Him the better we function as a child of God. Like changes and we become able to deal with those challenges that we face. We can know the Lord. That is our choice.

JULY 9 – FRUITFUL

7/09 John 15:1-4
1 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more. 3 You have already been pruned for greater fruitfulness by the message I have given you. 4 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful apart from me.
FRUITFUL
As we seek to serve the Lord too often we get on our own and decide to do things now. It is difficult at times to wait on the Lord. We like to do things our way. Our way is the very definition of failure. Without going the Lord’s way I will mess up everything. Speak Lord for your servant listens. And then I pray Lord that I will be quick to obey.

JULY 8 – GRACE

7/08 Revelation 22:18-21
And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the prophetic words of this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book. 19 And if anyone removes any of the words of this prophetic book, God will remove that person’s share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book. 20 He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus! 21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all.
GRACE
Today we need God’s grace. We will need it tomorrow and always. It is comforting to know that the Lord seeks to pour out His grace upon us even when we are going our own way. The Lord is good and worthy of all praise. Praise the Lord for His wondrous grace.

JULY 7 – COME

7/07 Revelation 22:14-17
Blessed are those who wash their robes so they can enter through the gates of the city and eat the fruit from the tree of life. 15 Outside the city are the dogs — the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie. 16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this message for the churches. I am both the source of David and the heir to his throne. I am the bright morning star.” 17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let each one who hears them say, “Come.” Let the thirsty ones come — anyone who wants to. Let them come and drink the water of life without charge.
COME
We know you are coming back Lord Jesus. Do not forget us. Help us. Guide us. Give us wisdom, mercy, grace and understanding. Come Lord Jesus.

JULY 6 – JESUS

7/06 Revelation 22:10-13
Then he instructed me, “Do not seal up the prophetic words you have written, for the time is near. 11 Let the one who is doing wrong continue to do wrong; the one who is vile, continue to be vile; the one who is good, continue to do good; and the one who is holy, continue in holiness.” 12 “See, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me, to repay all according to their deeds. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
JESUS
Jesus is God’s everything. We start with Jesus, we grow with Jesus and we will end up in eternity with Jesus. He is everything we need to live a victorious Christian life. Keep the SON in your eyes and you will not stray from the narrow path. Jesus is Lord.

JULY 5 – WORSHIP

7/05 Revelation 22:8-9
I, John, am the one who saw and heard all these things. And when I saw and heard these things, I fell down to worship the angel who showed them to me. 9 But again he said, “No, don’t worship me. I am a servant of God, just like you and your brothers the prophets, as well as all who obey what is written in this scroll. Worship God!”
WORSHIP
Jesus is our focus. He is worthy of all honor and glory. Lord I want to worship you in everything I do. Father fill me with the power of the Holy Spirit and the presence of Jesus that I might no sin against YOU. Jesus is my Savior, He is my focus, I will trust Him and live an obedient life for Him.
