06/05          Ephesians 6:18

18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere. 

HOLY SPIRIT

Holy Spirit indwell me.  Fill me to overflowing.  I bend my knee to YOU, Holy Spirit that I might be totally directed by You all the time.  Come Lord Jesus.  

06/04          Ephesians 1:18

18 I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. 

FLOODED

I remember Katrina.  Everywhere you looked the land was covered up with water-flooded.  I want to be covered up with the light of God so that I will be totally flooded with His presence.  Come Lord Jesus.  

06/03          2 Chronicles 7:14

14 Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.

CHANGE

Growing in Christ likeness requires us to change.  Lord we want to change, map out the change You would like to see in us.  

06/02          2 Chronicles 6:21

21 May you hear the humble and earnest requests from me and your people Israel when we pray toward this place. Yes, hear us from heaven where you live, and when you hear, forgive. 

FORGIVE

Forgive us Lord.  We often don’t realize what we are doing and we need, desperately need, forgiveness.  In forgiving remind us to be forgiving. 

06/01          1 Chronicles 16:11

11 Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. 

CHOICES

Choices are always critical in our life.  We make choices every day.  There is a serious choice we need to make:  Ask Jesus to forgive us of our sin and save us from life apart from the Lord.  Sin abounds so intricately in our modern day society.  Jesus will save us from our sin and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit we have the wisdom we need from the Father.  Become a family member of the House of God.  

05/31          Psalm 63:7-8

7 Because you are my helper, I sing for joy in the shadow of your wings.  8 I cling to you; your strong right hand holds me securely. 

YOU

You Lord are my strength.  In your presence I can sing for joy.  I cling to You but Your right hand holds me secure forever.  

05/30          Psalm 59:16

16 But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress. 

LORD

Worthy of our praise every day.  Worthy of our praise often each day.  Praise the Lord Saints.  He is our joy, our refuge and our place of safety in distress.  Praise the Lord.  Praise the Lord.  

05/29          Psalm 112:1

1 Praise the LORD ! How joyful are those who fear the LORD and delight in obeying his commands. 

UPRIGHT

An upright man   1.   fears the Lord 2.   delights greatly in His commandments 3.   gracious 4.   full of compassion 5.   righteous 6.   shows favor 7.   Lends  8.   guides his affairs with fairness 9.   has scattered abroad 10. has given to the poor

05/28          Psalm 9:2

2 I will be filled with joy because of you. I will sing praises to your name, O Most High. 

JOY

The joy of the Lord is our strength.  Jesus is alive and He lives in you and me.  Our Father, fill us with joy and peace and help as we live today.  

05/27          Psalm 147:11

11 No, the LORD ’s delight is in those who fear him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love. 

LOVE

Love the Lord and love each other.  Put your hope in Jesus and He will do it.  Jesus died on the cross for you while you were still in your trespasses and sin.  Jesus loves you.
