10/06          JOB 22:27

27 You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows to him.

DO 

Do what you vowed.  When you tell the Lord you will do such and such, do it.  Or be careful what you promise the Lord and you won’t mess up.  It is important that we remember the vows we make to the Lord and also to be sure to do them.  Marriage is in fact a vow to the Lord.  Divorce breaks that vow, and we are the culprit.  Do what you say you will do.  

10/05          JEREMIAH 29:12

12In those days when you pray, I will listen.

WILL

The Lord will listen to your prayer.  Pray and He will listen.  You always have entre to the Father.  Pray to Him and ask His blessing and that He answer your prayers.  God is good.  He is always good.  

10/04          EPHESIANS 6:18

18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

ALERT

Our prayers are not simply moaning about our happenstance.  Our prayers are to be sincere, passionate conversation with the Lord God.  We come into His throne room and talk with Him.  Stay alert.  The Lord is waiting to hear from you.  

10/03          2 CHRONICLES 6:21

21 May you hear the humble and earnest requests from me and your people Israel when we pray toward this place. Yes, hear us from heaven where you live, and when you hear, forgive.

FORGIVE

Only the Lord, in Jesus Christ, can forgive our sin.  We stand in Christ’s righteousness, and He paid the price for our sin which was His shed blood.  Jesus loves you and HE is Lord.  

10/02          1 CHRONICLES 16:11

11 Search for the LORD and for his strength; continually seek him.

DAILY

His mercies are new and refreshing each morning.  Spend time talking with the Father.  Praise Him and offer up prayers of gratitude and thanksgiving.  Remember that it is the Lord who loves you.  Spend time with Jesus.  

10/01          1 JOHN 5:14-16 
14 And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. 15 And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for. 16 If you see a fellow believer sinning in a way that does not lead to death, you should pray, and God will give that person life. But there is a sin that leads to death, and I am not saying you should pray for those who commit it. 

HEARS

The Lord God Almighty hears your prayers.  Our Father answers our prayers.  Believe in Him and He will do it.  Praise God from whom all blessings flow.  

09/30          MATTHEW 19:14

14 But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” 

LIKE
Children are Godly in that they believe God, what He says and what He calls them to do.  They simply trust and act on that trust.  They love God because He loves them.  

09/29          1 CORINTHIANS 4:20

20 For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power. 

LIVE

We live in the power of God.  Trust Him.  Spend time with Him.  Know that His power resides in us by the Power of the Holy Spirit and it is available for us to walk moment by moment in His power.  It’s not just talk.  It is the power of God in us and He gives us the power for Godly and Christ-like life.  

09/28          PSALM 33:4

4 For the word of the LORD holds true, and we can trust everything he does. 

ALWAYS

The Word of God is always, always, always true.  Even when we don’t understand it, it is always true.  Trust God and trust His Word.  It is always true.  

09/27          PSALM 100:5

5 For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.

GOOD

God is good.  That is always His character for He is always good.  Look to Him and trust Him for He is always good.
