05/16 Psalm 119:1
1 Joyful are people of integrity, who follow the instructions of the LORD.
JOY
Joy is a gift from the Lord.
Jesus guides us in our life so that we will live with integrity.
He tells us what we should do.
Do what Jesus says.
05/15 Deuteronomy 8:6
6 “So obey the commands of the LORD your God by walking in his ways and fearing him.
WALKING
Let us be found walking in God’s ways.
God loves obedience.
Do what He says.
We must read His Word to know what He says.
That is the only place we can find out about God.
Jesus is Lord-He tells us that.
God is our Father and He loves us, He tells us that.
We are not alone and we need Him in our life moment by moment.
Trust in the Lord and He will take care of you.
05/14 Psalm 56:3
3 But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.
FEAR
Fear is devastating.
We don’t want to admit we are fearful, but we are.
God deals with our fear.
He is with us every day-every moment.
Jesus takes the fear out of our life.
He is on control.
Trust in the Lord and He will deal with your fear.
05/13 Isaiah 2:5
5 Come, descendants of Jacob, let us walk in the light of the LORD !
FOLLOW
Follow the Lord Jesus.
To follow Him you must be surrendered to Him.
To follow Him you must believe in Him.
If you do, He will take you by the hand and lead you to walk in the light.
Jesus is Lord.
05/12 John 8:12
12 Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”
LIGHT
Jesus is the light.
We need Him so that we will not stumble.
We need Him to know the right way to go.
We need Him because life is hard and Jesus carries our burdens.
Jesus is the light, therefore, spend time with Him and walk in the light.
So that you will not stumble.
05/11 1 John 1:7
7 But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.
BLOOD
His blood cleanses us.
Moment by moment.
Every day.
Completely.
Do not fear. Our Father has provided everything we need in Jesus.
His blood removes all of our sin-as far as the East is from the West.
05/10 1 John 2:6
6 Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.
PRAYER
The number one thing Jesus did? Prayer.
He spent time with His Father, our Father.
Spend time in meditation.
Spend time listening to the Lord.
Spend time letting Him give you guidance to deal with your life.
Jesus is Lord.
Spend time with Him-Prayer.
05/09 Romans 6:4
4 For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.
NEW
NEW life in Christ.
A new way to think.
A new way to be.
A new heart-a cleansed mind.
Jesus is the way.
Follow Him.
He will lead you in the everlasting way.
05/08 Isaiah 30:21
21 Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left.
ALWAYS
God is always with us. Jesus will lead us.
The Holy Spirit is actively seeking to lead us the right way.
Humility first. Fear God, this is the beginning of wisdom.
People count. God is seeking to help all of us.
If we let Him, He will use us.
Serve the Lord with gladness. He is God and we are not.
05/07 Galatians 5:16
16 So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.
HAND
Let the Holy Spirit-THE HAND OF GOD guide you.
Every day invite Him to lead you.
Ask for wisdom, mercy, grace and understanding.
Don’t do what you always do, be filled with the Spirit of God.
Let Him guide you. Let Him lead you by your hand.
Come to Him as a simple child-Lord I need Your direction.
Lord, I yield control of my life to You.
