OCT. 6 – Speak the Truth in Love

Ephesians 4:15  But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is, Christ.

Truth and love belong together. Truth without love wounds, love without truth deceives. When both walk hand in hand, the church matures. Speaking truth in love builds up rather than tears down, and directs believers toward Christ as the head.

Truth protects from error.
Love makes truth healing.
Growth comes where both are present.

Poem — “Truth in Love”
Words without love bruise the soul.
Correction without gentleness breaks spirit.
Truth wrapped in kindness restores life.
The body grows through faithful speech.
Christ is seen where both are joined.

Love without truth drifts into error.
Truth without love becomes harsh law.
Together they display the Savior.
Together they build His people.
Together they adorn the gospel.

Maturity grows under their balance.
Unity deepens where both abound.
Faith is strengthened through truth and love.
Discipleship flourishes in their presence.
The church glorifies Christ as head.

Prayer: Lord, give me courage to speak truth and compassion to speak it in love. Guard me from harshness that wounds and softness that misleads.
Father, let my words build others up. May my speech always lead hearts closer to Christ, the Head of the church. Amen.
