OCT. 31 – The Lord Is Compassionate

Psalm 145:8–9  The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The Lord is good to all; He has compassion on all He has made.

Explanation: Compassion is rooted in God’s nature. He is gracious, patient, loving, and good. His compassion is not selective but extends to all. Our compassion reflects His.

Compassion flows from God’s heart.
God’s goodness extends to all.
Our mercy mirrors His nature.

Poem — “The God of Compassion”
The Lord is gracious beyond measure.
The Lord is patient with sin.
The Lord abounds in love.
The Lord is good to all.
The Lord has compassion everywhere.

Compassion sustains His people.
Compassion redeems sinners.
Compassion reveals His glory.
Compassion defines His heart.
Compassion is His way.

The believer mirrors God’s mercy.
The church displays His kindness.
The world sees His character.
The gospel proclaims His love.
Christ fulfills His compassion.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for compassion shown to me. Make me rich in mercy as You are. Let patience and love overflow in me.
Father, may the church reflect Your compassion. Let the world see Your goodness through our mercy. Amen.
