OCT. 30 – Weep with Those Who Weep

Romans 12:15  Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.

Explanation: Compassion is presence. To rejoice with others is love; to weep with them is deeper love. Entering sorrow is costly but Christlike—He wept at Lazarus’s tomb.

Compassion feels another’s pain.
Presence outweighs words.
Christ is revealed through shared tears.

Poem — “Shared Tears”
Grief is lighter when shared.
Sorrow eased by presence.
Tears are sacred to God.
Compassion enters pain.
Love chooses to stay.

The church becomes family in grief.
Believers strengthen one another.
Community comforts the broken.
Unity grows in sorrow.
Christ is seen in love.

Weeping reflects Christ’s heart.
Mourning fulfills His law.
Tears become prayers.
Compassion brings healing.
Love brings comfort.

Prayer: Lord, teach me to weep with the weeping. Keep me from shallow words. Give me a tender heart.
Father, let compassion mark me. May Christ be seen in my presence with the hurting. Amen.
