OCT. 14 – God’s Kindness Leads to Repentance

Romans 2:4  Do you show contempt for the riches of His kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?

Explanation: God’s kindness is not weakness—it is mercy meant to draw us back to Him. His patience delays judgment to give time for repentance. Kindness breaks the pride of sin and softens the hardest heart.

Kindness is God’s road to repentance.
Patience is mercy holding back wrath.
Forbearance gives space to return.

Poem — “Kindness That Leads”
Mercy gives time for turning.
Patience holds back judgment.
Forbearance invites repentance.
Kindness breaks hardened pride.
The cross proves mercy’s depth.

Kindness conquers rebellion.
Kindness makes room for change.
Kindness does what wrath cannot.
Kindness reflects God’s heart.
Kindness calls sinners home.

Repentance is kindness received.
Faith is born under patience.
Hope rises through mercy.
Life springs from compassion.
Salvation glorifies God.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for kindness that led me to repentance. Forgive me for taking grace lightly. Break my pride with Your mercy.
Father, help me show kindness to others. Use gentleness in me to point people to Your patience. Amen.
