Proverbs 3:5–6 — Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Explanation: Trust is leaning the whole weight of our life on God. To trust with all the heart is to rely on Him in every decision, rather than leaning on limited understanding. Acknowledging Him means inviting His authority into all our ways. Straight paths are not easy paths, but they are guided by the wisdom of God.
Trust replaces anxiety with surrender.
Guidance comes as we walk, not before.
Obedience is the measure of trust.
Poem — “Leaning Fully”
The heart rests when God carries the weight.
The mind is quiet in His wisdom.
The will bends under His authority.
The path clears for surrendered feet.
The soul finds peace in His leading.
Self-reliance is a broken staff.
Human plans collapse without warning.
But the Word endures forever.
The Spirit directs in truth.
The Father never misleads His child.
Trust grows by recalling mercy.
The past proves His faithfulness.
The present rests on His hand.
The future is safe in His care.
The believer walks in confidence.
Prayer: Lord, I lean my whole heart on You. Guard me from trusting myself above Your wisdom. Direct my paths as I walk in obedience.
Father, help me acknowledge You in every choice. May my trust become visible testimony that Christ sustains me. Amen.
