FEB. 13, HEB. 2:14-15

2/13            HEBREWS 2:14-15

14 Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had[a] the power of death. 15 Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.

IDENTIFY

Jesus stepped off His throne in glory to come to Earth.

To identify with us.

He lived a life like we live yet without sin.

To identify with us.

He hurt, got tired, felt lonely, missed His Father.

To identify with us.

Jesus prayed until He had the answer.

To help us identify with Him.

He revealed the Father to us.

To help us identify with God.

He is the exact image of the Father.

To help us strive to be like Him.

We identify with God when we act like His Son.
