MAR. 12 – PSALM 23:4

3/12            PSALM 23:4

4 Even when I walk
    through the darkest valley,[a]
I will not be afraid,
for you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff
    protect and comfort me.

HERE

If you are a child of God, He is here.

When you do bad, God is here.

When you fail, God is here.

When you succeed, God is here.

When you do good, God is here.

God is here with you always and forever.

You cannot do anything that will make God go away.

That kinks up a lot of theology doesn’t it.

When you come into God’s family, He is always with you.

MAR. 11 – 2 TIM. 1:7

3/11            2 TIMOTHY 1:7

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

BLESSED

We are blessed.

God gives us His power, love and self-discipline.

We choose to let the Holy Spirit activate this in our life.

Choose obedience and service in Christ.

The Holy Spirit will give you everything you need to serve.

MAR. 10 – PHIL. 4:6

3/10            PHILIPPIANS 4:6

6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

PRAY

Pray about everything.

Do not worry about anything.

God is with you.

God listens to you.

He will take care of you.

Listen to His Word-trust the Lord.

MAR. 9 – PROV. 3:5-6

3/09            PROVERBS 3:5-6

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
6 Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.

TRUST

You can trust in the Lord.

He says too.

It doesn’t always make sense.

But we can always trust in the Lord and do His will.

MAR. 8 – JOSHUA 1:9

3/08            JOSHUA 1:9

9 This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

BE

Be strong.

Be courageous.

Do not be afraid.

Do not be discouraged.

The Lord is with you wherever you go.

Trust in the Lord.

MARCH 7 – JAMES 5:13-16

3/07            JAMES 5:13-16

13 Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. 14 Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.  16 Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.

NOW

Now is the time to connect with the Lord.

What do you need?

Tell Him.

Praise Him.

Follow Him.

Pray to Him.

Listen to Him.

Jesus is God’s everything.

MARCH 6 – JAMES 4:13-15

3/06            JAMES 4:13-15

13 Look here, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we are going to a certain town and will stay there a year. We will do business there and make a profit.” 14 How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone. 15 What you ought to say is, “If the Lord wants us to, we will live and do this or that.”

LIFE

Life is not yours to command.

It slips away.

Suddenly you are at life’s end.

Jesus is Lord, is He your Lord?

Bend the knee to Jesus right now while He can be found.

MARCH 5 – JAMES 4:7-8

3/05            JAMES 4:7-8

7 So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.

STEP

Step into heaven and keep your heart focused on Jesus.

Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Do not try to walk in the Word and the World.

Give Jesus your undivided loyalty.

You will change and become more like Jesus.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

Walk in Him in humility and power.

MARCH 4 – JAMES 3:8-10

3/04            JAMES 3:8-10

8 but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison. 9 Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God. 10 And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right!

WATCH

Watch what you say.

Surrender your mind and your mouth to the Lord.

Give Him your obedience.

He will guard your tongue.

MAR. 3 – JAMES 2:14-17

3/03            JAMES 2:14-17

14 What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? 15 Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, 16 and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?
17 So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.

TALK

Talk is cheap.

Doing requires real effort and constructive faith.

We put our faith to work and let it control our hands and feet.

We make our faith active and let it control our resources.

Love one another.

Do for others as the Lord does for you.

Be Jesus in action.

The world needs Jesus.
