MAY 2 – DEVIL

May 2             Ephesians 6:11

11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.

DEVIL
He is our adversary.  He is a liar.  He seeks to devour us.  We cannot stand before him if we are not filled with Christ.  We stand in the power of God.  That power is the very same power that resurrected Jesus from the dead.  Put on the full-armor of God and you will be able to stand in the face of evil.

MAY 1 – JESUS

May 1             Ephesians 5:20

20 And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

JESUS
We are to be thankful, and grateful to the Father in Jesus.  We have forgiveness for our sin and access to the Father in Jesus Christ.  He is Lord.  He is our relationship to the Father.

APRIL 30 – LIGHT

April 30                      Ephesians 5:8

8 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!

LIGHT
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.  Everything we need for spiritual growth and Godly living we find in Jesus.  He is Lord and He will never leave us.

APRIL 29 – CHOSEN

April 29                      Ephesians 1:1

1 This letter is from Paul, chosen by the will of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus. I am writing to God’s holy people in Ephesus, who are faithful followers of Christ Jesus.

CHOSEN
We are chosen people.  The Lord came looking for us and we surrendered to Him.  Jesus is Lord and He will never leave you.  Praise the Lord for His glorious salvation.

APRIL 28 – MINE

April 28                      Ezekiel 16:8

8 And when I passed by again, I saw that you were old enough for love. So I wrapped my cloak around you to cover your nakedness and declared my marriage vows. I made a covenant with you, says the Sovereign LORD, and you became mine.

MINE
The Lord says you are MINE.  We belong to Him and nothing can ever separate us from Him.  He is totally involved in our lives.  He is the king of kings and Lord of Lords

APRIL 27 – RELATIONSHIP

April 27                      Jeremiah 2:2

5 For your Creator will be your husband; the LORD of Heaven’s Armies is his name! He is your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, the God of all the earth.

RELATIONSHIP
Christ the Lord has chosen to be our relative.  He is our redeemer and is close than a brother or sister.  He is our Lord, our elder brother, our Creator our Holy One of Israel.  Jesus is our owner.

APRIL 26 – ETERNAL

April 26                      Isaiah 54:5

5 For your Creator will be your husband; the LORD of Heaven’s Armies is his name! He is your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, the God of all the earth.

ETERNAL
The Creator is looking for you and He will make you part of His family forever.  He is offering without charge to forgive your sin and to cleanse you from unrighteousness.  Ask Him to come into your heart and He will and will never leave you.

APRIL 25 – WILL

April 25                      Hosea 2:20

20 I will be faithful to you and make you mine, and you will finally know me as the LORD.

WILL
The Lord will make you part of His family.  He loves you and will never leave you.  Seek the Lord and you will find Him.  He is looking for you.

MARCH 3 – RELIGION

3/3 Luke 11:45-46
“Teacher,” said an expert in religious law, “you have insulted us, too, in what you just said.” 46 “Yes,” said Jesus, “how terrible it will be for you experts in religious law! For you crush people beneath impossible religious demands, and you never lift a finger to help ease the burden.

RELIGION
Religion is self-development. Christianity is Christ promotion and development. Follow God’s Word, do what He says and surrender yourself to His will. You belong to Jesus.

MARCH 2 – UNHAPPY

3/2 Luke 11:44
Yes, how terrible it will be for you. For you are like hidden graves in a field. People walk over them without knowing the corruption they are stepping on.”

UNHAPPY
The Lord is unhappy when we market our Christian faith as though we were trying to sell a product. Jesus calls us to pick up our cross and die to self with Him everyday. We keep our focus on Jesus and let Him get all the glory. We live our life with His call in mind and His service as part of our DNA. Jesus enables us to live and work in a desperately evil society and calls us to be salt and light and to love one another.
