MARCH 15 – NO FEAR

03/15          Joshua 10:8

8 “Do not be afraid of them,” the LORD said to Joshua, “for I have given you victory over them. Not a single one of them will be able to stand up to you.”

NO FEAR

As Christians we can lead a life without fear.   The Lord will fight our battles for us as long as we are obedient to Him.  Do not fear the Angels cried out.  Jeasus is alive and here with us.

MARCH 14 – THE ACCUSER

03/14          Romans 8:31-34

31What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? 32 Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? 33 Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. 34 Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.

ACCUSER

The accuser works overtime in our life to try and trip us up.  When you are thinking about how horrible you are, introspection is important, that may be the accuser.  I’m no good, I’m an over-the-top sinner are probably dictums pointed out by the accuser. He will give anything to trip you up. Do not run those I’m helpless tapes over and over again in your mind.  Jesus is Lord.  Claim His victory into your life.

MARCH 13 – VICTORY

03/13          Psalm 3:7-8

7Arise, O LORD ! Rescue me, my God! Slap all my enemies in the face! Shatter the teeth of the wicked!  8 Victory comes from you, O LORD . May you bless your people. Interlude

VICTORY

Whatever victory we win or participate in, it is a victory of the willing. I believe in Jesus therefore I study His Word.  I want to grow in Christ, I must observe how the lord goes about providing victory for us.

MARCH 12 – BE STRONG

03/12          Ephesians 6:10-13

10 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.

BE STRONG

The implication of this wonderful passage is that we are commanded to be strong therefore we can be strong in the power of God.  It is our choice: prayer, Bible Study, remembering and change which are all involved in His being our source and they are all a part of His power to equip and enable each one of us.  Jesus is Lord.

MARCH 11 – PURSUING

03/11          2 Peter 3:9

9 The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed but wants everyone to repent.

PURSUING

Our Lord is constantly pursuing the Lost.  He would that all be saved.  Tragically a person can become so hardened against the Gospel that Salvation will never reach them.  Seek Him now. Jesus is Lord.

MARCH 10 – TRY

03/10          1 John 1:9

9 But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

TRY

We are to try to stay current with our confession of our sin.  There is so much often that it overwhelms us and the evil one constantly calls our character into question.  Do not surrender to the accuser.  Turn to the Lord quickly and confess your sin and go forth in confidence that as we turn from our sin the Lord is righteous and faithful to forgive our sin. The Lord rebuke the evil one.  You trust the Lord.  He has forgiven your sin.  Oh and how often?  Jesus said seventy times seven so more times than you or I can count.  Our wonderful Lord is a forgiving God who is seeking our best good.

MARCH 9 – RAISED

03/09          1 Peter 3:18

18 Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit.

RAISED

Jesus died for our sin, paying a price we could not pay for a life we could not claim.   The Father raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him at His right hand.  He is our Lord and Savior.  He offers us forgiveness if we will accept it.

MARCH 8 – SALVATION

03/08          Matthew 16:27-28

27 For the Son of Man will come with his angels in the glory of his Father and will judge all people according to their deeds. 28 And I tell you the truth, some standing here right now will not die before they see the Son of Man coming in his Kingdom.”

SALVATION

Yes we will be saved and no we will not stand in the judgment of the lost.  Instead our judgment will be as to our work as His children-how we sacrificed, how we loved and what we did to least and the lowliest. Kingdom value is the ruling guideline. We will be judged according to what sort of life we have led as a child of the Lord.

MARCH 7 – VALUE

03/07          Matthew 16:25-26

25 If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. 26 And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?

VALUE

Kingdom value is different than worldly value.  People count with Jesus.  Love one another is a real important value.  Listen to Jesus, do what He says and be about the Father’s business.  Praise the Lord for explaining Kingdom values.

MARCH 6 – TROUBLE

03/06          Ephesians 6:13

13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.

TROUBLE

In life we have trouble.  Sometimes that trouble is caused by the evil one.  When you are fighting temptation and evil only God can intervene and stand against evil.  The Lord rebuke evil-the Lord rebuke you.
