1/20            Philippians 3:13-14

¹³ Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, ¹⁴ I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. 

FORWARD

Life is for living.  We live in Christ our Lord and Savior, and we keep our eyes on Him.  He guides through each day.  He equips us to deal with failure and not be overrun.  Continue in Jesus.  One day you will see Him face to face.  Praise the Lord from whom all blessings flow.  Jesus is Lord.  

1/19            Isaiah 65:17

“Look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth, and no one will even think about the old ones anymore.

SOON

Time is a task master that we cannot get free from.  But one day we will be with the Lord, in Heaven, and we will live for eternity with Him without time.  

1/18            Matthew 7:7

7 “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.

EXPECTS

The Lord expects us to keep pounding on His door and He will open it.  Ask!

1/17            John 1:12

12 But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.

GIFT

God has a standard for salvation.  It is a gift.  It is free but isn’t cheap, paid for by the blood of Christ.  

1/16            Proverbs 3:5-6

19 By wisdom the LORD founded the earth; by understanding he created the heavens.

CREATION

The Lord created everything and there is nothing that we see that He didn’t create.  Serve the Lord with gladness.  He is our Creator.  

1/15            Acts 3:19

19 Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.

ONLY

Only Jesus can cleanse us of our sin.  Forgive us Lord, renew our relationship, guide us today.  Thank you for Your loving kindness and Your forgiveness of our sin.  Your mercy and grace overflow in our lives.  Thank you Lord.  

1/14            Luke 7:47

47 “I tell you, her sins—and they are many—have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love.” 

MUCH

We have been forgiven much.

Be grateful.

Develop an attitude of gratitude. 

Jesus loves you.  

He is God’s everything.

Serve the Lord and love Him.

Rejoice, you have been forgiven much.  

1/13            Revelation 21:5-6

5 And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” 

6 And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life.

WHAT?

What do you need?

Jesus will provide it.  

What is He calling you to do?  

He will give you what you need to accomplish His ministry. 

You can do it.

Jesus is able.  

1/12            Isaiah 40:31

But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

STRENGTH

Trust in the Lord.

That is a key to strength.

Our trust sets His power loose in us.  

Trust in the Lord and do good and you will survive to serve.

Jesus loves you and wants you to be His hands and feet.

Trust in the Lord.  

1/11            1 Peter 1:3-4

3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, 

4 and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.

RICHES

We have all the riches of Jesus,

Stored for us in Heaven.

It is pure, and undefiled.  

Nothing can touch it.

Praise God, we have a home. 

Our future is secured.
