FEBRUARY 17 – ALL

02/17               Psalm 103:2-5

2 Let all that I am praise the LORD ; may I never forget the good things he does for me.  3 He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.  4 He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies.  5 He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!

ALL

Note the commitment for all that I am praise the Lord.  There must be a time when we stop everything else and focus on the Lord.  He is worthy of all of our praise and He calls us to commune with Him.  Jesus is Lord.  He will renew your spirit.

Please pray for us these next 42 days.  We have two groups going on pilgrimage to Israel beginning 3/12/18 to 3/31/18 and a small group traveling on pilgrimage in Italy 3/14-24/18.  Thank you so very much.  God bless you.

FEBRUARY 16 – GOOD

02/16               Matthew 7:9-11

9 “You parents—if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead?  10 Or if they ask for a fish, do you give them a snake? Of course not!  11 So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.

GOOD

The Lord is seeking to give us good.  He wants us to be the person He created us to be and to have those things in our life that are good.  I’m not talking about a health and wealth Gospel.  I’m talking about the true Gospel- Jesus lived a perfect life, died for our sin to pay a price we cannot pay and was raised from the dead by the power of God the Father and is seated at the aright hand of the Father interceding for us this moment.  Jesus loves you and that is the best news you could every receive.

Please pray for us these next 43 days.  We have two groups going on pilgrimage to Israel beginning 3/12/18 to 3/31/18 and a small group traveling on pilgrimage in Italy 3/14-24/18.  Thank you so very much.  God bless you.

FEBRUARY 15 – SEEK

02/15               Matthew 6:31-33

31 “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ 32These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. 33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

SEEK

Seek the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.  You will find in your relationship with Jesus everything you need for Godly living.

Please pray for us these next 44 days.  We have two groups going on pilgrimage to Israel beginning 3/12/18 to 3/31/18 and a small group traveling on pilgrimage in Italy 3/14-24/18.  Thank you so very much.  God bless you.

FEBRUARY 14 – YES

02/14               James 5:14-15

14 Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.

YES

Yes I am looking for forgiveness.  Many times a day I find myself talking with the Lord confessing some stupidity, some sin and the tragedy is so many of them are mindless.   We are under attack.  Lord help me to be more mindful of what I say and do so that I might not sin against you.

Please pray for us these next 45 days.  We have two groups going on pilgrimage to Israel beginning 3/12/18 to 3/31/18 and a small group traveling on pilgrimage in Italy 3/14-24/18.  Thank you so very much.  God bless you.

FEBRUARY 13 – TRUST

02/13               Proverbs 3:5-6

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.  6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

TRUST

A promise-you trust and God will deliver.  Trust in the Lord with all your heart.  In spite of the prevailing worldly wisdom, the Lord is involved in your life and will give you the wisdom you need to do what you do.  Be real.  Be yourself.  The Lord is here.

FEBRUARY 12 – FOCUS

02/12               Philippians 4:6-7

6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

FOCUS

We can’t focus if we are worried.  Talk with the Lord, tell Him your needs and trust Him to meet your needs.  Peace will guard your heart.  You will be able to focus on Him.  Jesus is Lord.

FEBRUARY 11 – SIMPLE

02/11               Romans 11:22

22 Notice how God is both kind and severe. He is severe toward those who disobeyed, but kind to you if you continue to trust in his kindness. But if you stop trusting, you also will be cut off.

SIMPLE

This is a simple statement but powerful.  We believe in Jesus by faith and trust that He is faithful.  We don’t disbelieve in Jesus every time we sin in fact every time I sin the Holy Spirit convicts me of my sin and I confess my sin and live by faith.  I never stopped trusting Jesus even though I had sinned.  But if I do my own thing and doubt that Jesus could love me I will reap what I have sown in my heart-continued separation from Jesus.  My activities don’t make me right or wrong.  Trusting in Jesus puts me in a right position with the Lord.

FEBRUARY 10 – GOSPEL

02/10               Romans 10:9-10

9 If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

GOSPEL

This is the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Believe in Him and you will be saved.  Declare this before the world.  Remember we don’t make Jesus Lord, He is Lord.

FEBRUARY 9 – HANDS

02/09               Romans 8:28

28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

HANDS

We are in the hands of the Father.  We do not twist and turn on the issue of what we do determining our salvation.  We have confessed Jesus as Lord and proclaimed our surrender to Him.  He does it all.  It is by His grace, not our works, that we are saved.  We are in His sure and unyielding hands forever.

FEBRUARY 8 – BELONG

02/08               Revelation 3:5

5 All who are victorious will be clothed in white. I will never erase their names from the Book of Life, but I will announce before my Father and his angels that they are mine.

BELONG

We belong.  We belong to Jesus.  We belong in God’s family.  We belong in spite of what we do because we belong.  Why do we belong?  Because we have confessed Jesus to be God.  He died on the cross and on the third day was resurrected from the dead.  Today He is seated at the Right hand of the Father.  We belong because of Jesus.  He is Lord.
