03/19               Psalm 18:1-2

1 I love you, LORD ; you are my strength. 2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.

POWER

Jesus is my power.  In Him I live and breathe and move.  Jesus loves me.  He gives me real life so that today no matter my situation I can declare that Jesus is Lord and He loves me.

2 You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength, silencing your enemies and all who oppose you. 

LORD

The Lord is my strength.  He guides me in all that I do day by day.  He teaches me what I should do and guides me while I am doing it.  The Lord rejoices when I use His strength.

LIFE

Stand firm in your life.  Stand firm in Jesus.  He will give you the wisdom, mercy, grace and understanding that you need to live your life.  Jesus will stand firm with you.  He is Lord.

03/14               Matthew 19:26

26 Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” 

POSSIBLE

What do you see as impossible?  In this life all things are possible in Christ.  Spend time with Jesus.  Let Him have your heart and devotion and He will give you what you need and cannot earn-a relationship with Him, the Father and the Holy Spirit.  Turn your life over to Jesus and he will make all things new.

SAFETY

We are safe in Jesus.  He will protect us for eternity.  Whatever we face here on Earth the Lord will shepherd us through life and will let nothing separate us from Him.  We are safe in Jesus.

COURAGE

Do not listen to your fears.  Jesus is Lord.  Accept His strength and live with great courage.  You are safe in Jesus.

PROSPER

To prosper we are to seek to become wise.  We do that by fearing God and caring for others.  Remember, the best investment we ever make is when we love the brethren and seek to help them.  Counter-intuitive but nonetheless true.  Do the next right thing and you will grow in wisdom all the days of your life.  People count with Jesus.
