AUGUST 11 – ETERNAL

08/11               Psalm 73:26

26 My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.

ETERNAL

We are first and foremost spiritual creatures.  Our life is playing out before our eyes but also before the eyes of the Lord and He sees the eternality He has given us.  We do not see our spiritual side even though we have glimpses of it from time to time.  It is difficult for us to grasp eternity but we are indeed eternal beings and we belong to the Lord.  He will help us and will never leave us.  Jesus is Lord.

AUGUST 10 – NOW

08/10               Isaiah 40:31

31 But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

NOW

Jesus gives us the strength we need right now.  It is His gift to us to undergird our life and to help us move forward in the midst of the chaos of life.  He is never tardy.  He does not forget about us.  Jesus loves you and will help you to live a full and grace filled life.

AUGUST 9 – HERE

08/09               Isaiah 41:10

10 Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

HERE

Our God is here.  Jesus is alive and well and He lives in you.  Do not fear anyone or anything for the Lord is your strength.  It pleases the Lord to give you His strength.  Praise our great and mighty Lord Jesus.

AUGUST 8 – SING

08/08               Isaiah 42:10

10 Sing a new song to the LORD ! Sing his praises from the ends of the earth! Sing, all you who sail the seas, all you who live in distant coastlands.

SING

Praise the Lord with your singing.  Sing about your salvation and your life.  Sing about God’s miracles including you.  Sing about our wondrous loving Lord, for He is worthy of all praise.

AUGUST 7 – SINNER

08/07               Psalm 14:1

1 Only fools say in their hearts, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them does good!

SINNER

Each one of us and every one of us sin.  We are all without exception sinners.  Jesus is the only perfect one.  The Cross had the final say.  Jesus died on the Cross and paid the price for our sin.  By His stripes we are healed.  The Lord saves us and enables us to live a life of relationship with the Father.  Praise the Lord for His wondrous salvation.

AUGUST 6 – TELL

08/06               Psalm 9:10-11

10 Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O LORD, do not abandon those who search for you. 11 Sing praises to the LORD who reigns in Jerusalem. Tell the world about his unforgettable deeds.

TELL

We are called to tell the world about His deeds.  Too many people try to memorize great things the Lord has done when the greatest thing begins with their salvation and continues day by day with the things that the Lord does for them.  An attitude of gratitude will open our eyes to the amazing things the Lord does for us each day.  Praise the Lord.  Sing if His great deeds in your life.

AUGUST 5 – SING

08/05               Psalm 9:1-2

1 I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done. 2 I will be filled with joy because of you. I will sing praises to your name, O Most High.

SING

I’m not a singer but in private I lift the Lord up high with singing.  I often make this a part of my daily quiet time.  Sing to the Lord from your heart and He will hear the joy and love that you feel for Him.  Sing to the Lord for He is worthy of all of our praise.

AUGUST 4 – LOWER

08/04               Psalm 8:1-5

1 O LORD, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens. 2 You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength, silencing your enemies and all who oppose you. 3 When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers— the moon and the stars you set in place— 4 what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them?  5 Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor.

LOWER

We are lower than God.  He is God and we are not.  We access Him in and through Jesus Christ.  Praise the Lord with every breathe of your fiber.  Take time every day to honor God.  Praise the Lord.

AUGUST 3 – JOY

08/03               Psalm 149:1-4

1 Praise the LORD ! Sing to the LORD a new song. Sing his praises in the assembly of the faithful. 2 O Israel, rejoice in your Maker. O people of Jerusalem, exult in your King. 3 Praise his name with dancing, accompanied by tambourine and harp. 4 For the LORD delights in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.

JOY

You cannot praise God too much.  Praise Him in all things.  Praise Him in every way.  Praise our wonderful praise worthy God.  Praise the Lord.

AUGUST 2 – LOVE

08/02               Psalm 148:1-5

1 Praise the LORD ! Praise the LORD from the heavens! Praise him from the skies! 2 Praise him, all his angels! Praise him, all the armies of heaven! 3 Praise him, sun and moon! Praise him, all you twinkling stars!  4 Praise him, skies above! Praise him, vapors high above the clouds! 5 Let every created thing give praise to the LORD, for he issued his command, and they came into being.

LOVE

Praise the Lord for in every praise we are professing our faith and confidence in Him.  Praise the Lord for He is our salvation.
