DEC 4 – LUKE 2:17-20

12/4            Luke 2:17-20

17 After seeing him, the shepherds told everyone what had happened and what the angel had said to them about this child. 18 All who heard the shepherds’ story were astonished, 19 but Mary kept all these things in her heart and thought about them often. 20 The shepherds went back to their flocks, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen. It was just as the angel had told them.

THE GOOD NEWS

Put your trust in Jesus and in God.  By faith we believe in Jesus and he is a rewarder of those that believe.

DEC 3 – TITUS 3:3-7

12/3            Titus 3:3-7

3 Once we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled and became slaves to many lusts and pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy, and we hated each other.  4 But— When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, 5 he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.  6 He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. 7 Because of his grace he declared us righteous and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life.

FORGIVE

Christmas is a time for to forgive one another and to genuinely care for and love one another.  Jesus equips us to love in spite of.

DEC 2 – 1 TIM 1:15-17

12/2            1 Timothy 1:15-17

15 This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them all. 16 But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in him and receive eternal life. 17 All honor and glory to God forever and ever! He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; he alone is God. Amen.

WORST

Salvation extends over the worst of sinners if they believe in Jesus.

DEC 1 – GAL 4:4-5

12/1            Galatians 4:4-5

4 But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law.  5 God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children.

BORN

Jesus had to be born of a woman and had to live as a man on Earth so that he could pay for our sin.

NOV 30 – ROMANS 11:34

11/30          Romans 11:34

For who can know the LORD ’s thoughts? Who knows enough to give him advice?  35 And who has given him so much that he needs to pay it back?  36 For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.

ALL

We owe everything to Jesus.  He came and died for our sin and He provides reconciliation with the Father for us.  All we have and are we owe to Jesus.  Bless the name of the Lord.  Thank you Jesus.

NOV 29 – ROMANS 11:28-33

11/29          Romans 11:28 -33

Many of the people of Israel are now enemies of the Good News, and this benefits you Gentiles. Yet they are still the people he loves because he chose their ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  29 For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn.  30 Once, you Gentiles were rebels against God, but when the people of Israel rebelled against him, God was merciful to you instead.  31 Now they are the rebels, and God’s mercy has come to you so that they, too, will share in God’s mercy. 32 For God has imprisoned everyone in disobedience so he could have mercy on everyone. 33 Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!

JESUS

Jesus is the only way to the Father.  In Christ we have the forgiveness for our sin, life for living and light for the right path to follow.  Jesus is God’s everything.  Come to Jesus.  He is Lord.

NOV 28 – ROMANS 11:21-27

11/28          Romans 11:21-27

For if God did not spare the original branches, he won’t spare you either.  22 Notice how God is both kind and severe. He is severe toward those who disobeyed, but kind to you if you continue to trust in his kindness. But if you stop trusting, you also will be cut off. 23 And if the people of Israel turn from their unbelief, they will be grafted in again, for God has the power to graft them back into the tree. 24 You, by nature, were a branch cut from a wild olive tree. So if God was willing to do something contrary to nature by grafting you into his cultivated tree, he will be far more eager to graft the original branches back into the tree where they belong. 25 I want you to understand this mystery, dear brothers and sisters, so that you will not feel proud about yourselves. Some of the people of Israel have hard hearts, but this will last only until the full number of Gentiles comes to Christ. 26 And so all Israel will be saved. As the Scriptures say, “The one who rescues will come from Jerusalem, and he will turn Israel away from ungodliness. 27 And this is my covenant with them, that I will take away their sins.”

JESUS

Jesus takes away our sin.  He forgives and gives new life.  Jesus is Lord and He loves me and you.  Surrender to Jesus and give Him your obedience.

NOV 27 – 1 THESS 5:16-18

11/27          1 Thessalonian 5:16-18

16 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

CONSTANT
Lord we will be constant with our praying and spending time with you.  We are so grateful for the joy that You give us in Jesus.  He is Lord and we have surrendered our life to Him and He is Lord of us.  Thank you Father, thank you.

NOV 26 – 1 TIM 4:4-5

11/26          1 Timothy 4:4-5

4 Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks.  5 For we know it is made acceptable by the word of God and prayer.

GOOD

Thank you, Lord, for every good and perfect gift.  We thank You, we thank You.  Blessed is the name of the Lord and we are thankful to You.

NOV 25 – 2 COR 9:11

11/25          2 Corinthians 9:11

11 Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God.

THANK YOU

Thank you, Lord, for all of Your blessings.  Your presence is always needed and we are so grateful and so thankful for You.  Blessed is the Lord.  Precious is the name of the Lord.  Thank you.
