08/30               2 Chronicles 20:15

15 He said, “Listen, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Listen, King Jehoshaphat! This is what the LORD says: Do not be afraid! Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

YES

Too often we take our troubles on our shoulders and they discourage us.  Take your troubles to Jesus.  He will shepherd you through your pain and anguish.  He will give you victory.  The Lord is a mighty Warrior and He has already won the victory.  He will show us this victory as we serve Him.  Jesus loves you.  

08/29               Psalm 91:1-4

1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.  2 This I declare about the LORD : He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.  3 For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. 4 He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. 

SAFE

We are safe in the arms of the Most High.  He is our protector.  Nothing can take us away from Him.  Now, this moment, take your troubles to the Lord.  Abba, Father, HELP.  That is enough to get the victory rolling.  Jesus is Lord.  

08/28               Psalm 18:39

39 You have armed me with strength for the battle; you have subdued my enemies under my feet. 

CAPABLE

You are a capable soldier in the army of the Lord God.  He has equipped in Jesus with every spiritual weapon that you will need.  The Holy Spirit in you keeps you focused and victorious.  Jesus is Lord, He loves you and He leads us in His victory.  

08/27               Joshua 1:9

9 This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” 

REMEMBER

Remember whose you are and who is your Father.  Abba, Father is the Lord God Almighty and you belong to Him.  Jesus is Lord and He loves you.  

08/26               Psalm 44:5

5 Only by your power can we push back our enemies; only in your name can we trample our foes. 

VICTORY

Victory in Jesus.  He cannot be defeated because He has already won.  Stand fast no matter the trouble and the Lord will take care of you.  Jesus loves you.  

08/25               Romans 8:31

31 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? 

WHO?

Who can be against us?  No one.  The Lord is for us.  Keep your eyes on Jesus.  Walk with Him.  Grow in Him.  He will stand against all the forces of the evil one and will deliver you.  Jesus is Lord.  

08/24               Deuteronomy 3:22

22 Do not be afraid of the nations there, for the LORD your God will fight for you.’ 

LIFE

Life has a way of being disconcerting and difficult.  Sometimes it seems the world is against us.  The Lord is for you.  He will see you through whatever obstacles you are facing.  The powers and principalities of the air cannot overpower you.  Walk in the Lord.  He will fight for you.  

08/23               Joshua 23:10

10 Each one of you will put to flight a thousand of the enemy, for the LORD your God fights for you, just as he has promised. 

TROUBLE

Today is your day.  Your trouble belongs to the Lord.  Trouble finds us but cannot destroy us because the Lord is fighting for us.  Do not be fooled.  The enemy brings trouble but the Lord deals with it.  Stay focused on Jesus.  

08/22               Isaiah 40:31

31 But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

TRUST
Simply trust in the Lord.  Believe that He is good and perfect and that every thought God has towards you is a thought for good.  He will do it.  

08/21               John 3:8

8 The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.” 

HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit takes us to the Father and fills us with His power so that we can follow Him.  He is not a genie.  He does not operate at our command.  He is God.  The Indwelling Holy God who is in us and equipping us to follow the Lord.
