The fear stood tall against my door.

It whispered shame, it threatened loss.
But then your love broke through the dark.
And fear fell back like scattered leaves.
The love was not just kind and warm.
It charged ahead like morning fire.
It took the fear by name and hand.
It tore it from the rooted place.
It made my heart a freer home.
You didn’t wait for me to rise.
You loved me while the fear still sat.
You wrapped me in a fuller truth.
You taught me I belonged to you.
You showed me fear was not my king.
Your love was bigger than the lie.
Your love did not flinch at the wound.
It held the night and brought the day.
It healed the place where dread had grown.
It built a house inside my bones.
Today I lean into your love.
Not the fear that used to rule.
Your perfect love is home and light.
You cast out fear and call me whole.
You are my safety and my song.

Father, your perfect love has no fear in it. Help me trust your love more deeply today. Cast out every lie that keeps me afraid. Let me walk in the freedom that your love provides. Amen.
