August 30: He Knows the Way That I Take

Scripture:
“But He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.”
— Job 23:10 (NKJV)

Points:

  1. God is fully aware of every step we take.
  2. Even when we feel lost, He is guiding our path.
  3. Times of testing are not signs of abandonment.
  4. God uses trials to refine us, not to ruin us.
  5. Anxiety shrinks when we trust that He knows the end from the beginning.

Poem: The Way I Take

I do not see the road ahead.
The turns are sharp, the light is dim.
But you see clearly through it all.
You know the steps before I walk.
You know the way I cannot see.

You’re not surprised by where I stand.
You planned this path before I breathed.
You guide the test that burns but heals.
You shape the fire to make me whole.
You walk the dark and call me through.

I am not just a drifting soul.
You mark the road with care and grace.
You use the trial to shape the heart.
You use the heat to draw out gold.
You see the treasure I can’t see.

The fear of loss, the dread of wrong—
You silence it with knowing love.
You do not waste the time I fear.
You turn the hurt into new hope.
You draw me closer through the fire.

Today I trust what you have planned.
You know the way, and you are good.
I take your hand, though I’m unsure.
You lead me on with perfect sight.
And I will follow without fear.

Prayer:
Lord, You know the way I take. Even when I feel lost, You are leading me. Refine me through the trials and bring me forth in Your beauty and peace. Amen.
