August 12: Do Not Fear, For I Am With You

Scripture:
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
— Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV)

Points:

  1. God commands us not to fear, and He gives the reason: His presence.
  2. He is our God — personal, present, and powerful.
  3. Strength is not something we must find — He gives it.
  4. Help comes from the One who never fails.
  5. His right hand upholds us when we cannot stand on our own.

Poem: Held by the Right Hand

The fear grows fast in silent thoughts.
It whispers, “You are all alone.”
But then your words begin to rise:
“I am your God. Do not be moved.
My hand is near, you are not lost.”

You speak before the fear can win.
You show your strength in gentle ways.
You do not push the weak aside.
You lift us up with righteous hands.
You hold us even when we fall.

Your hand is not just near, but firm.
It does not slip or lose its grip.
It doesn’t grow too tired to stay.
It doesn’t shake when we grow weak.
It stays until the fear is gone.

You don’t just promise future peace.
You speak into this very breath.
You stand beside me in the storm.
You hold me when I cannot stand.
You are the help I need today.

Today I rest beneath your strength.
You are my help, my God, my hope.
I will not fear what comes or goes.
You will not fail to lift me up.
You hold me now and always will.

Prayer:
Father, I will not be afraid, because You are with me. You are my strength, my help, and the hand that holds me up. Let me rest in Your presence and walk without fear today. Amen.
