25. Rejoice With and Weep With Others

DAY 25 — Rejoice With and Weep With Others
Scripture: Romans 12:15
“Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.”

Real love enters another’s emotional world. It celebrates their joy without envy and shares their sorrow without distance.

To feel with others is Christlike compassion.

  • Love participates in others’ joys and sorrows.
  • Compassion requires emotional presence.
  • Christlike love feels deeply.

How Then Shall I Live

  • I will celebrate others sincerely.
  • I will grieve with hurting people.
  • I will resist envy in others’ success.
  • I will become emotionally available.
  • I will practice compassionate presence.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, enlarge my heart for others. Teach me to rejoice sincerely and grieve compassionately with those around me. Amen.
