13. Intercede for Others

  1. Intercede for Others
    Scripture: James 5:16
    Relevant Scripture:
“Pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.”

Changing somebody’s world often begins in secret prayer. Before you ever speak to them, help them, or disciple them, you can carry them before the throne of grace.

Prayer is kingdom labor. To pray for another soul is to join Christ in His ministry of intercession. Never underestimate what God may do through your hidden prayers.

  • Prayer is active ministry.
  • Intercession invites divine intervention.
  • Hidden prayer produces visible fruit.

How This Changes My Life Day by Day

  • I pray more intentionally for others.
  • I carry burdens spiritually, not just emotionally.
  • I see prayer as ministry, not backup.
  • I become more compassionate through prayer.

What This Equips Me To Do

  • Support others spiritually.
  • Fight unseen battles through prayer.
  • Partner with God in others’ growth.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, teach me to labor in prayer for others. Burden my heart for souls. Let me become a faithful intercessor whose prayers help change lives by Your power. Amen.
