08. Be Available to God

  • Be Available to God
    Isaiah 6:8
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?’ Then I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’”

God often uses availability more than ability. Many remain unused not because they lack gifting but because they are unwilling to be inconvenienced.

The greatest servants of God have usually been ordinary people who simply said yes. If you will make yourself available, God will make you useful.

  • Availability is often the first qualification for ministry.
  • God delights to use yielded vessels.
  • Willingness invites divine usefulness.

How This Changes My Life Day by Day

  • I surrender my schedule to God.
  • I become open to divine interruption.
  • I offer myself daily for service.
  • I stop making excuses.

What This Equips Me To Do

  • Respond quickly to God’s prompting.
  • Be useful in unexpected moments.
  • Serve beyond comfort zones.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, here am I—send me. Make me available to You. Interrupt my plans if it means advancing Your kingdom. Use my ordinary life for eternal purposes. Amen.
