03. Serve the Least as Unto Christ

  • Serve the Least as Unto Christ
    Scripture: Matthew 25:40
    Relevant Scripture:
“Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.

The way you treat the overlooked reveals the reality of your Christianity. Anyone can honor the influential. But Christ identifies Himself with the weak, the needy, the forgotten, and the broken. To serve them is to serve Him.

Much of Christian ministry happens in places the world never celebrates—hospital rooms, prison visits, recovery meetings, nursing homes, counseling sessions, and quiet conversations. But heaven sees every hidden act of mercy.

  • Jesus is present where mercy is shown.
  • Great ministry often happens in hidden places.
  • The least in society are not least in God’s eyes.

How This Changes My Life Day by Day

  • I seek out people others ignore.
  • I become more compassionate toward weakness.
  • I serve without needing visible reward.
  • I learn to honor Christ in hidden ministry.

What This Equips Me To Do

  • Minister to the broken with dignity.
  • Reflect Christ to the forgotten.
  • Value every soul as eternally significant.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, keep me from overlooking those whom You love. Give me tenderness toward the broken, patience toward the weak, and compassion toward the forgotten. Let me serve others as though I were serving You, because indeed I am. Amen.
