Blessing Of The Fear Of The Lord: Guidance

20. Blessing Of The Fear Of The Lord: Guidance

Psalm 25:12 — “Who is the man who fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way he should choose.”

Proverbs 3:5-6 — “Trust in the LORD with all your heart… He will make your paths straight.”

The fear of the Lord creates a teachable heart. God guides those who are willing to follow. Reverence keeps believers from insisting on their own way and makes them receptive to God’s direction. Holy fear creates humility, and humility positions the believer to hear the voice of God.

    • Reverence creates teachable hearts.
    • Fear strengthens discernment.
    • God directs those who seek Him.

What this does in the life of a Christ follower:

    • Brings clarity in decisions.
    • Reduces confusion and self-will.
    • Produces confidence in God’s leadership.

    How to develop this:

    • Pray before making decisions.
    • Study Scripture for guidance.
    • Submit your plans to Christ.

    Prayer:

Lord Jesus, direct my steps. Keep me from stubborn self-reliance and teach me to trust Your wisdom. Lead me in the paths that honor You and help me follow where You guide. Amen.
