18. Blessing Of The Fear Of The Lord: Protection
Proverbs 14:26 — “In the fear of the LORD there is strong confidence, And his children will have refuge.”
Psalm 34:7 — “The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him.”
The fear of the Lord provides spiritual protection because it keeps believers close to God. Many wounds in the Christian life come from wandering away from the Lord’s ways. Reverence guards the heart against deception, temptation, compromise, and foolish choices. Holy fear does not remove all suffering, but it places the believer under God’s watchful care.

Lord Jesus, keep me near You. Protect my heart from deception, compromise, and pride. Guard my steps and help me walk under Your authority. Let reverence for You become a refuge for my soul. Amen.
