6.       Love That Adopts

1 John 3:1
“See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are.”

God’s love does more than rescue—it adopts. You are not merely forgiven; you are brought into His family. His love gives you identity, belonging, and inheritance.

This is the wonder of grace. The God you offended becomes the Father who embraces you. Through Christ, you are no longer distant—you are His.

  • Jesus brings us into the family of God.
  • Love gives us a new identity.
  • We belong to the Father forever.

How to put this to work in my daily walk
Live as a child of God. Let your identity shape your actions. Walk in dignity, confidence, and obedience.

How can I grow in my love for God
Spend time with Him as Father. Relationship grows through presence, not performance.

Prayer
Father, thank You for calling me Your child. Let me live in the reality of this relationship each day.

Jesus, remind me of who I am in You. Let my life reflect the love of the Father who has adopted me.
